MY first give away

Until recently, my favorite was the stockman. However, the GEC 73 pattern has taken front seat now.

Intriguing GA... My ever favorite pattern is the lockback whittler, not owning one yet, but I think I have an idea how to get one (shot in the dark yet :))
Anyway, thanks for the GA, I am carrying TC barlow and #15 as well, both great knives.
Mike

My favorite is my Scagel fruit port. This knife has been with me through a lot of tough stuff and is a bit of a worry stone :)
Thanks for the chance

Thanks for the generous giveaway. I like many patterns, but overall I think I like Jacks best :)

Oh, heck, I'll toss my hat in.
My favorite knife has got to be this John Lloyd toothpick, given to me by a friend on the other side of the globe, Duncan in NZ. Not only is it a beautiful specimen, it also carries with it the association of a kind and caring individual, a good friend to have.

(Sorry for the lousy pic...)

Thank you for your generosity!

My favorite Traditional is basically a three way tie: Peanut (thanks to Carl), Stockman (my first love) and the Dr. with spatula pattern.

I can't let the possibilities of the list pass by! While I love my peanuts, my favorite traditional, and one that I have been looking for is a two bladed equal end jack with spear and pen blades. When I was 6 years old my hero, my grandpa, gave me one of these knives out of his pocket. It was well worn then, but I couldn't have been more proud to have it. Every now and then I'll take his off the shelf and hold it, maybe even work on the edge a little, but I never carry it out of fear of losing it.

Not many fixed blades here so I'll say the Marbles Woodcraft style blade is my favorite. For a folder though I like a stag 3 blade whittler.

My favorite traditional is my newly acquired Northwoods #25 S.F.O Bullet Jack. Pics will follow

barlow or trapper usually finds its way to my pocket.dont know why, just feels right.

Thanks for the chance, I'm in.
My favorite would be a small stockman or whittler pattern. Something with a straight, coping type blade, and also a curved, pointy type blade. Something suited for small detail work. I've come to really like the ones with some years on them.

My favorites changed specifically over time but currently its my new yellow cv sodbuster. I like most case yellow cv knives but my wife probably wishes that was the limit. Thanks for the chance...Herb

Personally I'm a big fan of the canoe style knife. Its great for carving and whittling and always has another sharp blade that can be used if I need it.

My favourite, is the Case pocket knife I don't have any more.
It was given to me by my father when I was youth,
and along the course of my life, I have lost it.
I have a habit of picking up a case whenever I miss my father.

Wow, that is a amazing proposition, very generous of you. I have only recently been into traditionals, i used to look at them and not understand their beauty but then one day something just clicked. Now I cant get enough. Carbon blades, who would have thought they could look so awesome! Anyway, GEC 73....perfect for edc. Great feel in the hand, big enough to get most things done and small enough to carry easily. A whole varity of scales. Perfect.

I'm in! I'm not a regular to the traditionals forum though, so I hope it's ok that I enter. I do appreciate traditional knives though. My favorite traditional is my first knife ever. My dad gave my brother and I little matching OLD TIMER pocket knives. I think I was around 7 years old. I still remember the excitement of picking them out with my Dad and brother in the knife shop. I hope that someday I have a son to pass that knife on to as his first knife.

Hard to say which one is my favourite it's kind of picking your favourite child .
But for the thread , I'd say canoe , because they look cool .
