I don't know if this is too far off topic but I just purchased my first Glock Model 27 thats in .40 and am pretty impressed. I like it very much.

Just a picture with a target that I shot. Yeah, I pulled one and yes I only fired seven on the target. Its going to take me a little time to get use to the trigger but overall I really like this pistol and am very happy with the purchase. Just thought I would share it with others that might appreciate it.

Comments? Others that have a Glock let me know what they think of theirs.

very nice. I'm think i'm going to get a glock 10mm in a few months. I've heard a lot of bush guides in alaska and montana carry it for protection.

very cool. a glock will probably be my first pistol..this thread should be getting relocated off gagets and gear

Ahh a glock 20 10mm I have one and it is nothing short of amazing.

NOOOOOOO! I wrestled with the decision to buy the 10mm or the .40 for 2 days and finally bought the .40.

Not that I'm disappointed but I really wrestled with this one. Who knows I might get one yet. :D

The 20 is the fullsize. I plan on getting another 20 down the road and a full size 357 sig glock I believe the 31. No more 40 short and weak's for me I have plenty already. :p

Your Glock is nearly indestructable. I don't think you can beat a Glock.
I learned how to shoot a handgun with my Glock 17. Thousands of rounds, not one jam or misfire.
The flat top of the Glock helped me to learn "instinctive" shooting. By looking down the top of the gun, I could aquire my target quickly (Does that make sense?).
The Glock isn't for everybody, but I sure loved mine. I owe a lot of my shooting skill to it.
I'll bet you'll be happy with yours. You made a good choice. Congratulations.

Nice...

I have not had a semi-auto for a long time,
I like the revolvers,
but I must admit that I have been seriously thinking of getting one of those glocks.
I've gone down and held a few, never fired any yet, but I like the feel and look of them.

I think I'm a Glock'aholic.

One thing to consider for new shooters, a full size pistol is a heck of lot better to learn to shoot. It will be less sensitive to minor aiming errors and generally will feel softer in recoil.

I carried a G20 with a concealed carry permit in Texas for several years. The key to staying concealed with a big pistol is great gun leather. No Uncle Mike's flimsy stuff on my belt. ;)

I know I have at least $1k worth of leather holsters for my various pistols and revolvers, including my Glock. My favorite carry holster for the Glock is a $25.00 Fobus paddle holster. Easy on, easy off, stays put when I draw, and most of all, its comfortable. I could sell the rest, and be satisfied with the Fobus.

I purchased a Glock 22c (the .40 compensated). I was going to buy a Sig Sauer, but learning to use the Glock is much simpler for my wife than the Sig (which has a slide release, external safety, and hammer drop lever). My wife can shoot the glock very well, and all you have to do is be able to rack the slide and point and click. it was my edc for a few years till I switched to a "summer" Ruger Sp101 .357 spurless. A bit easier to conceal for a round gentleman like me.

I have a G17, G26 and a G21. I have never had any kind of failure with any of them! I have carried all of them at one point or another, but the G26 is by far the easiest to conceal. My 1911 costs twice that of a Glock, but I rarely carry it anymore.

Have two Glock 19s. They shoot better than I can hold. Looking for Glock to go to smaller cartridge.......223......5.7.....

been carrying a glock on duty for 4 years. at least 5000 rounds through it, ive only replaced the recoil spring once. the malfunctions i have had were the result of series 6 mags that i simply threw out.

excellent gun, virtually rust proof, simple to use and disassemble.

i love my glocks (a 17, 19C, 26, 27, 32C and 33) and imho glock is as good as they come, imho kahr polys carry a little better but nothing wrong w/a glock.

I have a Glock 27
It's pretty dam accurate for a short barrel
I have one clip with the "extender" (plus 2)
It feels real good in the hand
If I'm gonna carry it in my front pocket I use the stock magazine
My pinky finger doesn't fit on it ,but, it fits in my pocket real nice
