Hi Sam! Congrats on joining the ranks of those of us exercising our right to keep and bear arms. First off, as a Life Member of the NRA, I'd like to invite you to let me treat you to your first year as an NRA member. Shoot me a line and we can work out the details.
Second, nice choice of weapon platform for your first gun. There is no single choice that will allow you the flexibility of a 12 ga pump shotgun. From hunting to home defense, you've got it covered. And the number of available accessories can make you poor quick.
I'm not trying to sound like your Mom, but as others have already requested, just make sure someone qualified checks you out on the responsibility you just took on. It's an awesome tool and with that comes the necessity to absolutely understand just how quick things can go south with that kind of power.
