My first Sebenza (Shout out to Ghostwalker) New pics, P.2

Congratulations on winning the giveaway buddy! GW was really generous on this one, especially as it is a Regular Sebenza.

Deserving winner and we hope to see photos of this beautiful piece in action. :D

LW and GW, beautiful collection! I need to get me one of those Natives... :)

Congratulations mate and thank you again for the chance GW.
It's great to see it going to someone who is really excited abouyt it and will properly cherish it.

I hoped it wouldn't go to someone who would say either it will look great in my cupboard of Sebenzas or someone who would say: I'll see what the hype is with this and sell it to get I don't know... 40 Moras for the money...

Or 50 Opinels! lol. Thanks! I really am enjoying this beautiful knife. It nipped me, though.

As one of the people you were probably referring to with the "cupboard of Sebenzas" comment, I'll just say that had I won it, it would have meant just as much to me as it would had it been my only Sebenza.

But I do think i went to the person it was meant for.

Yup, the blood-bond with your blade is good.

Wish I could be cut by an awesome knife like that!

As LW said, it's yours now. Nice...:)

It isn't as fun as you would imagine...

I know. Just a dumb attempt at humour. I've cut myself many times over the years, sometimes pretty badly. One of the first really nice knives I had years ago was a Benchmade/Emerson CQC7. I sliced the tip of my right thumb off the first day while closing it. Not fun at all... :(

very cool knife and story. congrats. Thats a good cut, what is this twice now? hopefully not too many more lol. Enjoy and be safe.

If it's any consolation I've had to stich my thumb up after a Randall Made bit me on a climbing trip in the mountains. Had a buddy hold the cut area of my thumb closed, screamed like a two year old when I injected the lidocaine to numb the area (clamping down on a stick doesn't work, believe me) and then started stitching. While stitching up other people is not a big deal for me having to stitch myself back together was a bit disconcerting for me to say the least. But others here are quite correct. That blood letting certainly makes it yours. And I still have that Randall.

Super glue! My Seb bit me bad a few days after I got it...and I was a few beers deep so it wouldn't stop bleeding--my index finger slipped off the blade while trying to close it, then came back and nicked the top above my nail. All part of the process!!!

Congrats on the Seb man! I just picked up my first as well this week.

You'll be bit more then once, I can assure you of that.

I worked as an EMT here in NJ for many years and I used to carry a spyderco rescue (all serrated blade). That bit me the worst out of any knife I've ever had. Just be glad that's probably a nice clean slice you have yourself. Easy to heal up!

Very generous give away. Very nice knife and it sounds like it went to a appreciative reciepent.

The first time being cut with this beast. I have no idea how many times that makes in my total count, though.

This made me uncomfortable to read.
