My heart is breaking

She doesn't want fuss, you don't want sympathy.

Safe, pain-free journeys, then, with precious moments of love and memory for both of you.

I'm not going to clutter up the forum, but anyone who's interested is welcome to read my online journal at http://www.livejournal.com/users/russkay/
Russ,
My deep felt prayers are with you and Harriet. I made the mistake of reading your online journal at work. Had me bawling like a baby. I can't pretend to know what you are going through, but I do know you are not alone.
Hang in there Russ. Never loose faith.

My condolences, I could not even begin to think what life would be like without
my wife. :(

Nothing I can say will aid you. Be aware that we all have you and her in our prayers.
Sending smoke.

There is a saying that the more you love the more you hurt. This has meant a lot to me because from my own experiences I have found that to be true. However the good side of it is the pain is a tribute to the love and for myself I found a little comfort in that. I hope you can find some comfort in your way.

The good thing about it seems that you found each other, and you share this together. She is lucky to have you in her time of need and you are lucky to be able to support her in hers. Though I can't imagine how hard it is. :(

You and yours are both in my prayers. I wish you all my best.

I have two things to say. First is to remember that your attitude will show in hers so stay "up" for her. The second is going to sound stupid but I need to say it anyway. You are very lucky. Lucky to have found such a wonderful lady and lucky to have had all the wonderful years that you have spent together. Many people have neither. Prayers sent. If we can help in any way, just let us know.
