My hike to the highest peak in the lower 48 PIC HEAVY

Great trip! I really wish I didn't live in the flatland's.

You sure that's a Marmot? Kind of looks like "Alf ". After they canceled his show, he must have headed to the high country to escape life!

Absolutely smashing photo's dude.

Thanks a bundle for taking the time to share them.

I swear I could smell that mountain air a few times as I scrolled down the pics!

Great scenery, looks like it was a very nice trip. All of the little lakes look really cool. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Hey, in that second picture where you point out the mountain, the one to the left looks higher. I think you climbed the wrong mountain! :D

Seriously, it looks like you had a great time. Congrats on scaling it, and thanks for the awesome pics!

Absolutely amazing place and pictures!

Every time I see pics of SNP I want to go so bad.

What an amazing place to have near you to hike and go camping.

The wife and I are thinking of relocating somewhere in the states and that area is on our short list, along with Alaska.

Thank you for taking the time to share.

Beautiful shots. I have been to some of the same areas, simply stunning up there.

Ah, so jealous! Great pics, thanks!
Gonna have to show these to the wife and maybe get a trip planned for the future.

That's Mt. Langley in the back.. We should plan to climb it next year. I've always wanted to but never did. I don't think John has been up there either. It's a little lower than Whitney but it's off trail toward the top. I think it would be a challenge.. I need to get in shape though.

Langley is a piece of cake. You park at something like 10,000 and it is way less rugged hiking. you could probably bag it in a day; easier than Whitney in a day for sure.
