my knife design has arrived...Teaser...

the sheath is a basic leather tiangular job (my request) but if it proves usefull enough in the long run kydex might be in order, or perhaps a leather sheath with a flap and a snap.

That is really, really cool!

How lucky we are to have a bunch of talented craftspeople ready to grind out designs we come up with.

Hey John,

Happy Birthday and congratulations on your small tool!

that's a sweet little knife...

Many more to you friend. Nice little back-up blade. I am setting out by the mail box waiting for that package from Brian.:D

Speaking of teasing, the first reply to post 4005 by me wins the EWOK.;)

Happy Birthday Dude! I'm not usually a fan of unorthodox blade shapes. They typically seem to be more gimmicky than functional; however, this unusual shape appears to be all function, no gimmick. Great design and great execution on the part of the maker.

Happy birthday Riley !!!!!

I like that design Riley, it is hard to come up with anything that hasn't already been made before that is still functional and I think you have done just that !!!!

Straight away I started to wonder if a finger sized hole in the middle of the handle would add to it's versatility, I think this would give even more grip options !!!!!

Pit I agree.... If I had to design it again there are some small changes I would make that would be one
another would be to get rid of the bottom inch of edge and have the micarta go straight across..the handle slabs keep the lower portion of the blade from coming into contact with the cutting target and it would keep my fingers safer in the reverse grip (which actuall seems to be the most efficient way to use this knife for carving at least)
the last change would be to put a choil large enough for a finger at the bottom of the blade to add a little more comfort when using a standard knife grip. but thanks for the compliments ..... I really like the designs you've been coming up with as well.

I like the design Riley, a steel version of a stone knife. Looks like a great little tuck-away tool.

Oh..and Happy Birthday!
