My New Bk7

Moin... outstanding!! Thanks for the post, very encouraging... sorry to hear about customs... but good thing you got your steel...

bk7 was my first becker.... I don't have it anymore but its the do all combat, camper :D

the thumb ramp gives you better control in defense adn other tasks, some like it others don't.. on the 7 I liked it, on the 9 not so much.. looks like you have your basis covered with the 7 and Izula..

excellent english also, stay cool out there.. :)

rob

Well, thank you so much Rob, the situation with respect to knives is bad and procuring firearms almost impossible, archaic laws, remanants of the British Raj. Costs an arm and a leg to buy knives, but I tend to compromise on a few luxuries, saves me enough to indulge in what I am very passionate about.

I am planning to deramp it, the ramp breaks the very clean lines of the blade. will try some mods soon and post.

Thank You again & Regards
Moin.

What kind of heresy is that? An ESEE taking a free ride on that hard working Becker's sheath!?

Just kidding, I love ESEE too. Sweet new 7, enjoy man.

Lolzzzz, Thank You Rogue Bowie, the Izula will find place with an Esee 5 I hope to buy eventually. This place is reserved for a Bk11 :)

Welcome Moin!

Your collection of Indian blades is beautiful, and congrats on the 7! That was my first Becker, love it!

Started with a very common mod here, stippling using soldering iron...

Have to smoothen it a bit with emery paper

Yes, that ramp is not long for this world...

Welcome. Beautiful collection (so far!) and nice work with the Corian.

Welcome congrats on the 7, and great collection very cool

Have reached 2000 grit emery paper and buffed it slightly with black compound. Few scratches still visible, so going back to 2000 grit emery paper and then buffing with black and then green compound on the stitched buffing wheel mounted on my bench grinder to complete.

Have started doing the scaled with White Oak (free sample of hard wood flooring  ). Still to figure out how the damn couter sunk holes will be done....

Oh, my word.......

That looks great. How rough are those handles? Those look like they would hurt to use heavily.

Thank you Moose, have just cut the outline on white oak plank, have yet to shape the handles :). I selected White Oak as I thought it would be a nice contrast to the coating i retained below the handles and on the spine.
