My New Bk7

Thank you Moose, have just cut the outline on white oak plank, have yet to shape the handles :). I selected White Oak as I thought it would be a nice contrast to the coating i retained below the handles and on the spine.

Moin.

I think he meant the stipled handles...

Whooopssiee, my sincere aplogies Moose and Arkanian, the handles were sanded slightly after stippling. These are very comfortable to hold even when wet.
A world of difference from the smooth Grivory scales that are standard on BK's.

Best Regards
Moin.

There is your calling in life !!! Nothing better than doing something that you enjoy everyday. It probably doesn't even feel like your working. I hope to find out some day myself, how it feels to actually do something you enjoy & make money from it. :)

Thanks for the pics, Moin.
John
I would love to travel to your country someday, and you are always welcome here.

How I wish it was that easy, people here do make good money buying from Knife Centre and selling in the open market. Like I said earlier the final landed cost of a Becker after the atrocious customs duties, shipping costs, customs hassles is nothing less than USD 140-150. And blade lovers buy as there is no other option available.

Very nice collection Moin.....I work for a company based out of Jalandhar.... great boss.. we speak each day via Skype.... hope to visit one day.... he had hinted for me to get my passport.
Wish I could help get a few knives over to you cheaper than what you pay. Mike

Jalandhar :) That's in the beautiful state of Punjab. Great do come by as time permits, do visit Mumbai, it's India's equivalent of New York, and thanks much for the very generous offer. You beckerheads are a great bunch of people.

I just got a job offer to move to India today... How random.

Nice collection man! Love the pictures.

Thanks Chameleonbear. I do work with a lot of American Expats, there is a lot of reverse migration taking place from the United States and Europe towards India and China where the challenges and the professional growth prospects are much higher. All the very best and welcome :)....

Moin.

Looks like somebody needs to take up making his own blades...

Nice work so far, enjoying your progress, and it was neat to see your collection of indian blades. Don't get to see many of those. Have you checked out the Himalayan Imports section also?
