Just bought this earlier today, A Grohmann #104 mini skinner.
Feels great in the hand, not too big and not too small.
2 1/2 inch blade, 6 1/2 overall. Steel is "high carbon stainless," which is 4110 (The close equivalent is 440A). holds a good edge but a bit tough to sharpen I find.
I realized when holding it that even a 4 inch blade can be too long, what can a 4-5 incher do that this can't? Other then kitchen duties this can handle most tasks I put it up to, though admittedly all I did so far was shave some hair and cut up a baguette.
Fit and finish is, as ever, perfect, hand crafted not far from my childhood home to boot.
Post pics of your grohmanns, and well you are at it, you're smaller fixed blades as well.
