This is a prototype of my new knife. The design just came to me. I call it The Charlie1.Hope you like it

You stole my design!
I wonder if a knife design can be patented?
It seems like every idea has been thought of and everything is a variation on a theme or inspired by or an interpretation of something that has been made.

Kind of like guitar riffs... or at least I remember someone somewhere saying something like that.

Its a nice drop point. Nothing original, but its a great, classic design and one I'd really like to see finished.

Looks to me like a Loveless design...Bob knew how to make a good looking Knife !

Looks like my kind of knife. I would be interested in seeing the specs and what you have in mind for a handle.

I printed out a pic of a Bark Bravo 1 and traced it onto the steel. The steel is thinner than a bravo 1(1/8) and the blade height is a little taller(11/8). The handle is a little different for my hand. Otherwise its a complete rip off. Also I may end up grinding off the ramp as I cannot for the life of me understand what its for.I didnt bother with the lanyard loop.
Handle will be purple heart, locust or Kabukali.Pins are stainless steel cut from a 4inch hex bolt.
I was calling it a Charlie 1 as a funny homage to Bravo1

Nice work on the knife, I hope it'll serve you well once you finish it

Yeah. We all got it. But hey, the Bravo is no ground-breaking original knife either. BRK Canadian Special? Russell/Grohmann. Heck, Stewart's BlackJacks are virtually identical replicas of Randalls.

So its not like you are the first to "create an homage."

There are several BRK that are very similar to other designs, including those mentioned and their adventurer. They don't own the Blackjack brand or name, although they do produce the knives. So I wouldn't knock them for making what they are asked to do.

Ease up, dude. Nobody's knocking them. Sheesh. Just pointing out that they do the same as our friend thatsaknife did.

Unless you mean to knock him. I don't.

I think you're ready way to much into what I said. I'm not trying to come down heavy on what you said. What I was trying to say is that BRK does replicate their fair share but it would't be fair to put the Blackjacks on them too since that isn't their brand.
