Tell you what dude..prove us all wrong..get a copy of the police report..including the number and officer badge number and scan it and post it here on this forum. Delete any personal data..I could care less..or put a copy to a link to a newspaper report or scan and post the article about this attack on this forum to disprove that I THINK YOUR FULL OF SHIIIT

If you can produce either a verifable police report or newspaper report on this "alleged" attack and prove me wrong..I will send you a custom Bud Nealy Cave Bear complete with a MCS system no strings attached..a tactical mall ninja like yourself would beshat your pants just to own one..

In other words..I am convinced your full of shiit...Waiting to see your response dude..

Oh Boy! This is getting interesting! I believe I'm gonna stay up late to watch this play out. I will be surprised if we see the documentation.

Meloncolly. Most normal people don't talk about killing in detail? Not true. I'm a combat vet and I'd be glad to discuss my "first kill" in detail with most people. My former army peers will also do the same. In fact, Eric Haney who wrote the book "Inside Delta Force" was my battalion Sgt. Major back in the 80's. In the book, he goes through a bit of detail on his first killing. We should commend Celtech for sharing this information with us. Just by reading his story, you can tell that it bothered him. A few seek counciling after taking anothers life. They are told to not keep thier feelings inside, but to discuss them. I'm not saying that you have to believe him. I'd just like to clerify the reason some do talk about it. :)

Wunderbar, up in this here parts, Bellvue is the name of the City's Mental Health facility...

edited my post for calling guys names and because doubt about the story is settling in. BS-alarm has been triggered

Ever the skeptic, I would like to see proof on this one myself... I know of ONE friend, personally that has used a knife in defense, and it didnt wrap up near as nicely... Now I am not calling anyone a liar, BUT I would like to see proof. Hell I might throw in something for kicks if he proves it!! :D

Just about any newstory can be found on the web.

I do like the suggestion for the documentation. How about Celtech, you send it to one member of this forum we can all trust. One of the moderators would do, I am sure. That person to look over the documentation and keep any personal info quiet, just giving us a thumbs up or down on whether or not the action really took place. That would be enough for me.

I am not, at this point, calling Celtech a liar.

This does seem like something Steve Van Cook would have in his magazine 'Tactical Knives', however.

What makes the story BS is getting into Court within three weeks. Those charges are felonies and require Grand Jury Indictments. Having a Felony Trial within three weeks in this Country is impossible.

Even a Probable Cause hearing within three weeks is impossible. Discovery in a case like this takes Months.

I'll add the refusal to print the guy's name "out of Respect" really adds a "Sweetster" odor to this one.

Tell me what State this took place in, I wanna check!!!!!

I don't think it really matters...

There has been a few times when someone's credibility really matters... I don't think this is one of them... there's no real tactical lesson he's trying to convey, nor is there any material or financial gain.

BF has always been one of those communities that's been able to sniff out Bullsh*t in an instant... it's also been one of those communities that guards jealously, the well-being of it's trusted members, be it emotional support, and even financial and material support. We all know who the straight shooters are, and who ain't... and if we don't know, we figure it out in short order...

I think Ren's already made our point abundantly clear... any other flaming is somewhat anticlimactic...

After my second cup of coffee it was getting a little too cold to sit outside anymore so my friend and I decided to clean up our mess and go inside to continue our palaver. After gathering up all of our empty cups, cigarette butts and napkins I stood up and was tapped on the shoulder.
This is the point where the encounter begins. What happened to your friend? Just curious...

I believe it is Oregon

don't ever post a story like that without being able to back it up with documentation. but I really love when people do.. just cracks me up.

O.K. I know you are following the thread you started,,, PRODUCE SOME DOCUMENTATION! Or give enough details so someone else can check... Or save what's left of your dignity by coming clean right now!

Wow Celtech.... you definately have a bit of talent in writing. I think however, that your story would most likely be found in the "fiction" section of Barnes and Noble. In reading this thread, I saw two very good reasons to produce some factual documentation... Ren's offer of a rather nice Nealy, and even a sincere maybe from Trace Rinaldi himself. All you have to do is prove it, and you have two sweet knives!
Great story Denis/TTO/iced saphire/#16542/whatever incarnation I missed.

yeah, this guy's full of crap. he just likes telling stories. oh, and also, he likes those shirts with "grey wolves" on them.

Large parcels of land have been purchased from indigenous American tribes for a single rifle.

The laws of physics state that the common bumblebee cannot fly.

Coca Cola was originally some type of pharmaceutical product.

Spyderco makes good products.

These are all facts and yet I believe someone will call BS on me simply because we're on the internet. This story is less incredible than what happens in everyday life.

Yes I take everything and I do mean everything I read or hear with a grain of salt, but there comes a point where I have to put some trust in what people tell me or I wouldn't have much of an education now would I?

Good point - in theory. It is much more difficult to determine the authenticity of something over the internet. However, two of your facts can be demonstrated by documentation. The spyderco thing is backed up by a large body of common knowledge, so I can belive that despite never having handled one of their products before (they don't look like something I'd stick into someone for some reason). I'm not sure about the bumblebee thing :D . I think that may be an urban legend... if it is true, then the problem lies with the application of the physics.

The problem with your point, of course, as with the physics applied to the bumblebee, is that problems in the post history, details ("some random political issue"), and tone of celtech's story trigger the BS meter. The sheer amont of irrelevant detail is a hallmark of fiction, part and parcel of good BS - I remember that from a creative writing class somewhere in distant memory.

Celtech's failure to provide documentation of ANY sort to back up his story cements this point. I reserved judgement on even this ludicrous (esp. in hindsight) piece of BS... but when all is said and done, it must be concluded that celtech is likely a teenager seeking to impress with a tall tale.
