On to my second cup of coffee. Got to get some writing done today. What's on the agenda for everyone else?

Absolutely nothing! wife is sleeping after a night at work. Kids are playing with the toy heap..... I'm looking at the weather to see if its nice enough to bundle them up and take them outside for a bit.

I have two outlines to do for an informative speech, some reading, revise a short paper, work on an art project, cut out some leather, keep the kids out of trouble, and do some laundry.

Leather work. (Not the kinky kind, just knife sheaths.)

Slapping a couple more handles together, then more leather work. This is shaping up to be a record week for shipping... and I'm sure my clients who have been waiting so patiently will be glad to hear that :o

More camera work as well... Angie took today off to catch up on stuff around the house so maybe I'll pawn that off on her. She's a better photographer than I am, anyway.

I just looked at the weather -22C (-7.6F) outside. Looks like its a day to play inside :D or maybe take them to the mall to let them run around while I check out the scenery of consumerism (and women shopping)

Or maybe it's time for a nap! ;)

Sounds like a full day. I'm exhausted just reading that list.

I for one am glad the weekend is over. As I much expected, attending my buddys funeral was terrible. Have a lot of mixed feelings about how our relationship played out but I've pretty much explored every inch of guilt, sorrow and anger over the last few days. Gotta say his Mom, Dad, and sister helped put me at ease and made me feel better even though I went to support them. Whats funny is I hate my job but today I'm thankfull to be here back to some kind of normalcy..................

Once we got back from the funeral and walked into my house, my wife just gave me a hug and went and layed out shop clothes for me. She knew I wasn't going to sit and dwell. Lol. Good woman. I wasn't in the shop long, here come Murph and my buddy Ralph. Murph came in and picked up where he left off helping me with customers orders and Ralph sat down in my way and gave me sh!t like he always does. I appreciated that from both of them.

I have over a dozen customers knives at the 90% completion stage, so, just for this weekend to keep my mind at ease I started my brassback project. Worked on it again a little yesterday. She's gonna be a beast.

You might change your focus if you spend some time checking out Terry Richardson's magazine. lol!

BTW James, what camera did you get? I must have missed the post.

I found toe perfect way to NOT get your wife hacked off because you bought a new knife. Ask her to help do a mod to it, and tell her you want her to help so the knife will be an 'us' knife. Worked like a charm, and she's excited to do it.

She fell right into my hands! Bwah ha ha!

Or just get a wife that's into all that stuff herself. Last time I was at the gun store I heard a guy talking about how his wife would get mad at him for going to the gun store without her. That's a keeper right there. I have a friend who's wife likes to shoot and she would like it they had more guns but my buddy is a cheap bastard.

I know we have lots of axe guys here, but where are the sledge hammer guys. Show yourselves!

Here's how uncool I am. I was following a rabbit trail on YouTube while having morning coffee, and I came across this vid.

I had to Google the original performer. No clue. Ergo the sledge hammer pic.
Personally, I think the song is a lot better without all the Autotune. Not nearly as much T&A in the cover though.

Better than the original...

See if you can get this image out of your head...

Wow Todd, that knife looks gorgeous. Can't wait to see the finished piece.

Your weekend sounded challenging. Glad to hear you had friends there for support.

Sounds like the little guy is working out just fine, and you seem to be doing all the right things. Congrats again WW!

Thanks man!!

I didn't know you could get pet health insurance!! I always thought it should be an option on the health insurance menu through work.

Yep, lots of options for pet insurance. Were currently debating on 2 plans, 1 is 35 a month with 100 yearly deductible and the other is about 80 a month with the same deductible.

Yep, Give the poochi some belly rubs WW!

Of course :)

Prolly should leave that for a day when the wife isn't home. :p

We just use some point-and-shoot Canon thing that Ang has had forever. I'm still using PaintShopPro from about 1998 for photo-editing LOL.

I am glad you made it through the weekend without loosing your sanity. Loosing someone is never easy and it never will be.

That brass back bowie is not my style at all, so why can I not stop staring at it? LOL. Holy crap. I need to save up and own one of your creations. Can't wait to see it when it is done.
