Happy Presidents' Day everyone!

Got an 8' by 25' area roto-tilled for my wife to plant potatoes. About the time I almost finished my first pass, some bees came swarming out of the trunk of the hackberry tree in the back right of the picture. Apparently they didn't like the noise.



I took it as a sign from God that I should take a break before my second pass.



I confess, this is the first time I've used the BK11 for this purpose.

I always wear helmets now, as a kid I got lucky and never had serious head injury.. In my 40's I don't like the healing process as much as I did in my 20's... plus like others said, I have kids now and all..

Well, with an impending ice storm upon us, I headed home VERY early and decided to do some remote work rather than get stuck at work or face a 4 hour commute home. So now I'm in my fortress of solitude, blaring some old Dragonforce, & happily crunching away at numbers.... Or as happily as number crunching can go.

Just finished lunch at Krekels (Dubz, next time you're there try the chili.) Little bit heavy on the pepper and cumin but overall beats Steak and Shake and theirs is made fresh daily (although I may prefer day old but oh well) it was a free sample the size of a cup.

I only have Sonic firestorm. I picked it up after seeing them at Ozzfest one year. I wouldn't mind a few more, but I've never got around to it. There's other bands in the same boat there too.

Yay for "Family Day".... The government had to make a civic holiday in February when crazy cold outside and every activity center is just rammed with kids and there is no space left. Kids have cabin fever for being inside all day and our living room looks like a toy war zone.
