Yea i never even heard of the "doge" stuff until about a week ago.

Ill have to figure something out with some becker knives. The Becker Doge.

This is what I awoke to this morning. It was really beautiful.

Our little cape looking towards the North Mill Pond and sunrise:

View down the other yard towards the tidal pond behind our house:

Our Japanese (kousa) dogwood and a view up the street (I love the way that pine looks):

View down the southerly side yard towards my falling down shed and the woods behind our house:

A friend of my son's wants one and I'm trying to help scare one up for him. They look kind of strange to me.

The snow is beautiful GSOM. I love when the snow sticks to all the trees, etc.

This made me lol.

Just got home from taking the parents out to supper. Mom wanted a decent steak (no problem) however papa despises steakhouses (makes it more difficult) We ended up at 54th Street Grill. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their steak. Had the 14 oz rib-eye, along with asparagus. They did some kind of lemon pepper garlic butter on top of the asparagus. Was so yummy. However today has been this incredible day. Not incredibly good, but not bad either. Just incredible. Had to work this morning in Springfield, Il, early morning, so I drove up last night. I was told today was going to be an angioplasty. Not a big deal (45-ish minute surgery) which was actually placing a pacemaker. The doctor had me stay in the room for the surgery but actually let me stand right by the table and watch the whole thing. It was AWESOME! However I didn't get done working till 3pm.

I've seen them on the river site. I was trying to save him a few bucks. He's somewhat financially embarrassed. :D
