My snark-shake brings all the boys to the yard...

She who must be obeyed... I asked that one, cause it was a local jargon. However YMMV I've seen other places too. I still take issue with YMMV. It could be a better acronym like YOMV or YEMV (opinions or experiences, respectively).

Love it!! Will use it, thanks :D

That's fine, but use it appropriately and selectively.

I own exactly one knife with a carbon damascus blade, and quite honestly that's only because I got it in a KITH with another American maker. Our wedding bands are handmade stainless damascus from an individual American craftsman, specifically because Ang and I wanted something unique. Other than that... meh. While I sincerely appreciate the tremendous skill it takes to craft serious pattern-welded steel, I really can't find a need for it other than to say "I own this, look how expensive it is". Just my opinion, of course.

As for the cheap import dumbasskiss junk... I spit on the people who make and sell it. :thumbdn:

Alright, here's a couple of pics from last night:

You sir, are both a fashion gawd and a BAMF. Your jacket drapes so nicely that I can barely tell you're carrying a gigantic overweight large-caliber obsolete-the-day-it-hit-the-market pistol under it. Excellent work with the hair-gel, also.

I walked into a bar once... I immediately backed up and said, "Damn! That hurt."

I lost internet service for a few hours and resorted to sitting on the sofa watching basic TV.... But the pup kept me company all night, laying right on my lap dreaming about biting that annoying barking chihuahua next door.

So my daughter seen a commercial for the new Poppin Pebbles cereal and asked us to get it, so the wife picked it up yesterday when she went to the store shopping.

Anyway, im not a fan. Pop rocks mixed with cereal? I was annoyed after a couple bites LMAO, but the kids love it.

We don't get cereal, ever! When we have picky friends over they buy it, and for birthdays. My two sisters and I all got our favorite types if cereal for Christmas :D

My mother joined my dad this morning after being apart for five years. She passed with the same grace and dignity that she lived her life. Even with the progressive loss of mobility, speech and (toward the end) the ability to take food or water, she never complained once, always had a big smile and would laugh at my jokes. She was something else indeed. While all of us here are sad that we will never see that smile again, it is for selfish reasons and we are happy that she is finally beside my dad where she belongs. And all is right with the world.

as a kid I ate Cheerios almost exclusively. I was allowed sugary cereals on the weekends only. Or maybe only on Saturdays. I'd stuff myself silly on Corn Pops (or whatever) and watch Saturday morning cartoons. It was better when we got a color TV.

These days the closest I get to cereal is granola. I've tried to reduce my refined carbohydrate intake and cut out sugar baths.

ETA: Trade, my condolences.

My condolences for your loss Trade. Prayers for you and your family from Me and mine.

I'm sorry for your loss... but you have a beautiful attitude about it. I felt much the same way when my Dad died... that Mom was waiting for him over yonder.

Dammit, now ya made me tear up a lil bit... but not in a bad way.

Im sorry for your loss Trade and glad that your parents are back together.

Very sorry for your loss. However, your outlook speaks loads about your Mother, and you. Best wishes.

Sorry for your loss Trade. I remember you telling me a little about your Mother in some conversations we've had. Sounded like she was a great a unique person. Sounded as if she was real proud to have you as a son as well. God bless buddy.
