Tell him there will be a HUGE bonfire in my yard on Wednesday! We'll shoot some guns, blast some fireworks, throw some knives, and generally fill the sky and fields with smoke, lead, and prayers prayers prayers in his honor!

We might even fire up the go-kart and do some donuts in the field!

It had that same affect on Alayna and I when she was hurt. Alayna, Lisa, and I are all praying and pulling for Madden today. As well as for strength for you Justen.
 
Tomorrow my wife will be lighting candles, and I will be tending a campfire in the woods out back, praying and thinking of Madden and all of you.
 
I believe in the power of prayer. Praying for healing and strength. May God send an angel to be with all of you and watch over him during the surgery.

Heavenly Father,
watch with us over your child Madden,
and grant that he may be restored
to that perfect health
which it is yours alone to give;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Just got off work and wanted to check in and see how the little guy made out today. Hope all went well Chuck
 
Thanks again to all of you keeping tabs with the family. Everything went as smooth as one could hope for a full day of pre op until later in the day when he had a sit down to discuss the procedure and what was going on. We have been easing him into this the past few days and did not want to spring it on him before we went to Disney or his last fun week of Pre K. Anyway, when the doc said he was going to use his "special knife" to fix his heart it was the first sign of fear he had all day. So when We get home I asked him, "Madden, would you rather the doctor use one of Mr Andy's special knives?" That seemed to do the trick. I don't have a 3/32's Esquire, which I think would be ideal, but he really likes my SS F2, so he is now good to go. Will try and touch base again sometime mid afternoon or earlier if possible. Thanks again everyone for all the support. We truly can feel the energy!
