While you decide on a folder, she might like this one, 8" white fibrox forschner/victorinox chef's knife, for use in the kitchen.

Well, that is nice. But, I already chose a folder. And, we already have all of these:

Thanks, though!

Just how blue are the handles on the Kulgera. In pictures from the catalog and in ads, the knife looks extremely blue. However, the pictures posted in this thread show a more muted color that in my opinion looks better.

I really like the knife, but my color preference in most things ranges from tan to varying shades of grey. I don't mind color if it is subtle, but I just can't determine what color handles are on this knife and finding one where I live is highly improbable.

Anyway, very nice knife and glad your better half likes it. :)

The colors in the pics I posted are pretty representative, I'd say. The blue is definitely there, but muted, blends with the darker colors in the handle very well.

Im moving to Texas, and Im going to be up the stinky creek if AO knives are deemed illegal...I own a TON of them.

I already sold off all of my automatics for the move, the AOs will NOT be sold.

I have a CCW, so I think the non-mechanical knife thing would be a rather moot point if someone was concerned about the weaponry on my person.
