Oh ... what the heck. I wasn't going to, but I guess I'll enter. (I try not to enter a lot of GAWS)
Thank you for the chance.
The knife I'll carry is a Rough Rider RR1062 "A Stroke of Luck" canoe.
I haven't carried it much. A Buck 389 or no "R" number "Remington" (not quotes) canoe has been my choice of canoe so far this year.
It can join the large stockman, and (Rough Rider RR1838 Hopalong Cassidy) moose in my pocket. I'll keep the Buck 110LT "Smoke Jumper" and Marbles two blade slip joint MR417 Folding Hunter on my belt, as well.
Why so many knives? Simple: No one blade profile is "ideal" for every task.
Even though I'm retired now, I still don't know what (if any) knife tasks I'll face during any given day.
This way, I'm "prepared" ... for the most part. Only the clip point blade is redundant with this combination ... and maybe the spear point, or the Spey/Budding blade. The "spear point" (note quotes) on the Moose looks a lot like a Spey/Budding blade.
Maybe I should swap out the moose for a trapper, as well? I haven't carried a trapper in years and/or decades. (although I do keep one in the under seat bag of my Rollator (4wheel walker). I guess I can put the trapper in my pocket and the moose in the rollator.
So, in pocket starting tonight for at least a week, is the RR1062 "A Stroke of Lick" canoe, RR1057 "A Stroke of Luck" large stockman, and a RR1058 "A Stroke of Luck" full size trapper.
(I wonder what the RR1059, RR1060, and RR1061 "A Stroke of Luck" knives are? I should ask them.)
