Name some QUALITY titanium flipper knives <$500

There is a mini goblin on EBay I nearly grabbed as well. Think he wanted like 400.

Decided to pass

Rainmaker is here! It is very large and very very fast. I barely have to press the tab and it launches. Holy crap.

Very well made. I'm pleased. I'd say I made a good choice skipping the production flippers and going straight to midtech. It's definitely worthy of a place in my edc rotation with the crks

Wish I knew how to make pictures on here

Just set up an account on imgur- https://imgur.com and upload your pics there. Then just copy the link (watch your sizes) into the picture icon above^ when you draft a message and they will appear in your replies. Look forward to checking it out! Congrats..

Posted some in my rainmaker thread. Don't want to keep bumping threads and give the mods a headache

So....a little update for you guys.

Honeymoon stage with the Olamic ended last week, and the craving for fresh steel slowly crept in and spread like wildfire.

Ended up biting the bullet and grabbing a HINDERER XM-18. Fullered spear version from DLTtrading.

Should be in my hands within the next 8 hours!

I very VERY nearly bought an Olamic whippersnapper wharncliffe, but ultimately decided to go with something more overbuilt. I was going to get the xm24, but eventually went with the more tame 3.5'. I pray I don't regret this

Anyways, pics soon when it arrives! Got the whole weekend to mess with it, try out the teflon/phosphor bronze/bearings, and decide which to leave on. Nice added plus there!
Hopefully I find a ti scale someday

Congrats on your latest choices. I picked up a CRK small inkosi and LG SEBENZA 21 pj last month and really appreciate the quality. I am seriously ready to grab my next high dollar piece-- HINDERER for sure but can't decide between the HALFTRACK or XM-18 3.5"...20cv or m390?....sheesh. I am also fighting the urge for another LG sebby 21 with insingo and micarta inlays....problem is, I only have money for one at the moment.

Dude....I had the exact same dilemma. I literally went to drop cash in the bank to buy a 21 insingo micarta large on wednesday, but ended up not because the bank closes at 2pm due to plague(I was unaware, missed them by 30 minutes)

By the next day, following hours of binge watching youtube, I decided to take a shot with the hinderer instead. I hope I don't regret my choice!

20cv vs m390: they are too close to tell apart imo. Happy with either

Congrats on the Hinderer, can’t go wrong there. I’ll say the Whippersnapper is my favorite fidget knife and I just sent it back to Olamic to trade up to a different model. Enjoy the Hinderer though they’re quality.

Nice lineup, whats the one on the left?
Looks like its time to try something Reate made :)
The one on the left is a benchmade 761. I consider it the ugly red headed stepchild of the family. It has some bad design issues lol. Such a shame...
Didnt know wtf I was doing at the time and went for what looked cool to me. Didn't want to pay much more then $300.

4 knives and nearly 2 grand later, that ship has LONG sailed..

I wont get the reate due to made in China. I believe everyone that they are quality, it's just a mental thing..

Like say there is a beautiful woman, a smoking hot 10/10. You're about to make love, when someone from bladeforums whispers in your ear (she was born a man).
If you didn't know any better, it'd probably be a swell time. But Once you know....

Thanks man! This is a real beast. I just realized not only do the thumbstuds act as a stop, but it ALSO has a regular stop pin. Like damn, usually its one or the other.

That and that rugged, inserted lockbar, I don't think this will ever wear out

Good choice. My XM-18 says hello.

- non-flipper spearpoint CPM 20CV blade
- full titanium handle
- working finish all over

I have ONE complaint: that they made this damn pivot and don't include the tool. And the tool is EIGHTY DOLLARS

Smart business move really. Like that episode of "Married with children" when the Bundys go pan for gold. Al buys a glass bottle of coca cola from the machine, has no way to open, and some old coot waves the bottle opener tool in his face with a smile and charges him an arm and a leg;)

I just used a hollow-ground slotted screwdriver and a security bit. Didn't really need the security bit. I've had my knife apart about a dozen times with no issue. LGS had a used tool kit for $20. It's pretty nice. Good place to store spare pieces and common bits.
