That is strange that my order confirmations from Buck always go into my spam folder.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
There are only 4 124s left. I think they lasted as long as they did because of the price. The 119 was sold out in 2 hours and 10 minutes. And they made many more of the 119s.That 119 would have been nice.
I cannot believe the 124's are still in stock.
I think it's a bit pricey but that's a rare find.
If I didn't already have one I'd be all over it, but again I have other commitments I need to follow up on first.
✌
I thought yesterday was National Knife Day so I was expecting something, and didn't even look today.
Oh well.

OK, I guess I am not used to buying the big boy knives. The 119 seemed like a better deal, pricewise. I did buy both, though. And the koa. No going out to restaurants to eat for awhile. You think the 124's were expensive. Build the same knife with 420HC (still the only option in custom shop), instead of 5160, and it goes for $330 in the custom shop. It would probably be $370+ if they offered the 5160 steel.
Great selections. I picked those up as well.OK, I guess I am not used to buying the big boy knives. The 119 seemed like a better deal, pricewise. I did buy both, though. And the koa. No going out to restaurants to eat for awhile.![]()
Lol!Dang you guys and your chatter! Now I've got the 124 on order in addition to the 119. I did not want to spend this much. (Serves me right for having a couple of afternoon cocktails...)
[Edit:] Three left of the 124

They are build-outs, so anything is possible.I noticed the 119 on the website has a 2018 tang stamp. The 124 does not have a date code. Didn't check any of the other knives.
Those look like the same blades they used in the Limited Edition releases of the 119 Brahmas in the past and might explain the unique pommel. Those blades were all dated 2018 too.I noticed the 119 on the website has a 2018 tang stamp. The 124 does not have a date code. Didn't check any of the other knives.
Ditto. I was starting to weaken, then *poof* it was gone.124s are gone! Whoever got that last one.. thank you!![]()
