I actually owned a lightweight one I got dirt cheap on a black Friday sale. It was nice, but the bd1n wasn't so much. And the p4 and Millie 2 were so much better to me that I sold it.

Wasn't suggesting that the Native Chief was the only way to go for more cutting edge.
I have a Police 4, variety of Millies & many other Spydies with 4" blades. I even owned a Tatanka but sold it because I thought it's 5" blade was just "too much" because 4" is my "sweet spot" as far as blade length goes. But yet I'm planning to buy the two projected 5" Police 5 variations to add to my Police 1-4 collection, if I can get my hands on them.
That's the thing about Spyderco, there are just so many different models & blade steels to choose from that there's something for everyone.
