Native 5 - the perfect pocket knife?

OK. I can do that. So, how does one go about getting a wire clip.

Planning on getting low carry clip from mxg gear. Not wire, but low carry. Not advertised, but he said he can make it black.

Yes! I think the LW designation should translate to wire clip IMO. I put a couple grooves in one of mine so it would take one:

Ingenious, but no thanks.

The Native 5 has been one of the biggest surprises for me: I have picked up quite a few of them in different variations. The S110V LW version is my favorite. This knife is absolutely perfect as an EDC knife. Very small but the finger choil allows for a full grip with good ergos.

I picked up a fully serrated N5 LW yesterday and it is sweet!

This makes me NEED a native 5 to compare to a sage, PM3, and mini-grip. Like my sage 2 and mini-grips, PM3 didn't do it for me (too tactical maybe?).

G10 or FRN multi-direction lightweight grips or is that pure preference? The G-10 version looks almost like a lockback manix, and by that I mean it looks like a tank of a knife and the lightweight has a more dainty appearance. I assume the g-10 has full liners like the manix and the lightweight either is liner-less or smaller?

Pure preference, I think.
I just really like the linerless folder.
Go get one.

I am looking at the Blurple/S110V version.
But it is competing with the LionSteel SR-2A as my next purchase.
Seems the Spidey is a bit more practical, the LionSteel, a bit more blingy.

I was beginning to think I had a problem because I had 3 Native 5s, but reading this thread has made me feel much better somehow. I have the Lightweight S35,LW S110 and g10 S35. Bikerector, they are all the same size. The g10 has a full frame, but it is WAY more skeletonized than a paramilitary. It is really just a thin frame around the outside with 2 crossbars near the center. It picks up the extra ounce with the major all steel backspacer/ backlock.

Only 3??????????????????? I have seven after I sold my doubles (except 2013 Forum). There are guys on Spyderco forum, who have way more than I

Thanks gents, dark blue LW S110v on the way. First native and first knife with S110v. The addiction is real...

I only have one Native, S110V LW, but it has become my most carried knife. I'm thinking about preordering one in Maximet.

I have the black, burgundy, and blue lightweights. One of them is usually in a pocket. They are a very refined design, much more so than is apparent from a cursory examination.

On any given day you will most likely find me with the S110V in one pocket and a small Inkosi in another pocket. Quite a team.

Carrying my Native 5 S35VN G10 today. The fit and finish on these knives is so great. Love all the steel on this beauty. Feels like a smooth operating tank.
