Need advice selling to brand new member

In reading this whole thread, I realized his main argument was to check his ebay feedback with the same name as on here. What I thought was how easy it would be to find any ebay username with good feedback and then create a username on BF saying look here I have good ebay feedback and try to scam a guy with a $1000 knife. Probably not worth it, but you could contact maebba on ebay and see if he is even the same person. Even if it is, maybe he does keep ebay legit, and uses that to scam all kinds of different sellers on all kinds of different sites. Just some observations for thought.
Ebay feedback is for Ebay,means nothing anywhere else and IMO not all that much on Ebay,you have to really read through a sellers feedback.If a good standing member of ebay is using there good feedback there to rip off people on other sites Ebay is not going to care.
FWIW I am not saying that this guy is out to scam anyone.This whole deal would be handled much better for the buyer to send postal M.O.s for the knife.Still a 1000.00 deal is scary for both parties unless they both have solid reps on the same board.
