Need an honest, experienced comparison: Strider vs. ZT 0300

Damn you guys are aggressive. When I said Strider has interests in ZT I meant they helped design some of the knives. And I NEVER Said KAI doesn't have a Good warranty, I said Strider has a No questions asked warranty. Thats it. I said I like "Real" Striders a lot better, to the point I will sell good knives to have one I think is Better. I OFFERED THE OP TO LEND HIM A SMF FOR A WEEK TO SEE WHY I LOVE THEM. That Offer stands. I didn't see anyone else even come close, in any way except being arrogent and opinionated. and there are obviously some Strider "Haters" posting, thats fine. Typical actually. So Don't give me any **** Because you disagree with me. Or can't afford a SMF.
 
OP, If I sent you My SMF with LIfters leather I truely think you'd like it a lot more then the ZT. The ZT Is the Best of the Best in Production folders, But the SMF Is a little Better. Email me if you want to see.
 
It is very interesting example...

All words twisted the way like ZT has no warranty and made in China or something. While truth is that it is made same way in US from same materials and has same warranty and reasonable price.

Nothing I wrote is twisted in any way. I am saying KAI is a GIGANTASAROUS multi national company. Strider is a Small Company that makes great knives. It's like the difference between shopping at Wal-Mart or your local Farmers market. Thats what I mean. nothing is "Twisted".

Now don't get all butt hurt. As for your last line, most people can afford a high end knife if they really wanted to. Most just don't choose to do so and that's cool too.

Just buy and use what you like. Who cares what "others" think about your choice? In fact I think the OP made a great choice.... Not that he should care. Just say'in ;)
 
All I'm saying to the OP is I have had all ZT folders. I love them. I really like the FBs too. But if all the folders where lined up, and I had to grab one and go, I'd grab the SMF every time.
 
I have a 302 and love it. Sure it big and heavy. I think it is one of the best knives I have owned. I thought I did not like AO knives, till I tried the 302. Now I do. I have never handled a Strider folder. I had a couple fix blades, but thought the blades were to thick, to cut good.

I don't own all them in the first two pix. Most have found new homes, I really am happy with my "hard use" line up now. So happy I passed on the Umnum when CRKs called to tell me I was up next. (Flipper XM, non flipper XM, DGG SNG, CC SNG, and a large Reg bg42 sebbie..) the pimped SNG is up on the exchange. :cool:
 
After reading and following this thread....I have an overwhelming urge to buy a ZT 0300 / 0200....

Funny how the mind works.

ME TOO!!!! Actually I am ordering a 0400 and another Boot dagger as of right now. Or should I just get the 0300 again? Hummmm. I want the Modded one in the pics a page or 2 back. that is Perfect!!:thumbup:
