I take a big swig of milk, saddle up my dogs, and walk. Walking speed directly proportional to level of anger. I like to go to remote little areas in town that have lots of trees—the railroad, the local park, etc. When I show up I sit down and just have some alone time with the dogs, drinking from a stream and roughing around with a stick or a ball. Dogs don't talk back, or complain, or criticize.

On a serious note I think about my son. There have been a few times I really would have quit or hit sombidy if I didn't just think about my boy and me being a single dad.

Also get a puppy. No person will ever be as happy to see you when you get home as your dog.

When I'm depressed/stressed/annoyed, I blare my favorite music for hours. It helps get my mind off everything and just relax for a while.

When I have a bad day, I take solace from the fact that in less than a hundred years, no one will care or remember... it kinda puts thing in perspective. It also helps to throw the mind into neutral, let your thoughts drift and do some yardwork. Helps to know you've made a little corner of the universe a little nicer for your effort!

Kids are a super big help. It's hard to mope about with, "Papa, read this book... drink this tea, look at this... etc." I love my babies ;)

Prayer helps.

Coming home to my wife helps.

Ranting to people over chat in spare time helps! Oh boy it helps.

And sometimes having a really good beer helps.
 
Thanks for the chance...great contest. When I have had a bad day it usually helps if I ask someone how their day has been and really listen to them talk for awhile. It helps to realize I'm not alone and that others have problems too. Hope you have a good day!
 
I grab a couple of big-bore six-guns (.44 mag or .44-40) and go blow targets to shreds, or a rifle and shoot cans, helium canisters (empty part ballon filler type), etc. That assumes that I am on land, if at work, well let's just say I am working on that, but for that for me, smoking cigarettes is good for other peoples health at times... lol

when i have a bad day at work or just from family i like to do some exercise the drink somethin nice and hot while i relax and watch some tv or a movie in my bed, i also like to pray before i go to bed, not to get things, just to have the strength to get through things, it always helps me get through stuff
 
I grab a chicken from out back and I cut it's head off and hack it in to about 8-10 pieces.....................................................Fried chicken just make me feel better.
but really I rub my dog's belly, the look on her face is priceless. Stop and pet the puppy's.

If your having a bad day, head over to the outdoors store and pick up a soda and some beef jerky and run your AC in the parking lot while you cool off and enjoy. -Or you could just go ballistic and do all those things you were thinking about- jk
