Myright, I have a 4 month old and I work in health care too, so my thoughts are with you guys. As a parent there can be a lot of misplaced guilt involved when someone who is dependent on you becomes ill. Hopefully I'm not being patronizing/out of line by saying this but, as your wife may know, many people in the community have staph species (of which MRSA is a variant) growing 'harmlessly' in their noses. Please tell her not to beat herself up over it - ANYONE could have 'given' it to him or it could have been a bite etc.

Best wishes from Oz to your little one for a speedy recovery!

I agree with Edgy. I'm sure you have already told your wife it's not her fault but I just wanted to encourage you guys.
I'll definitely say some prayers for you guys. I hate to hear of little ones in trouble.
God speed my friend.
Remeber the birds borther.

We're all praying for him to get well quickly and completely. Be patient and be careful. The hospital is taking care of him. You and your wife have to take care of each other. Keep your own strength up.

Kids can be really resilient, too, as hard as it is on him to go through all this discomfort. Stay positive and he'll pick up on that from you.

Myright and Myright Jr., You guys will be on my mind in the coming days, will put in a good word for you both and Mom too.

thats a shame, hope he gets well soon, well actually he will get better, trust me.

Poor li'l guy! I was on IV antibiotics for six weeks for a nasty heart infection I had a few years ago. No fun! He has my sympathies. I will say a prayer for him and for you and your family.

I hope things are turning out okay. It is scarey when a little one gets sick enough to involve the doctors.
