Need some prayers for myright Jr.....

I hope your little one gets better really soon.

Best wishes to you and your family,
Bravo

Hey fellas I VERY happy to announce that the myright family is home TOGETHER. He got released today around 2pm.

They say the redness is going to last for a quite a while, but the hardness/swelling should go down within a couple of weeks. It sucks that we'll never know really what it was but all I care about at this point is that he's getting better.

He's a champ - he's sleeping right now. :D

We've got to give him some antibiotic, Clindamycin, that smells like a$$. :grumpy: But if that makes him get better I don't care. He went through three different IV's, but they found a vein the first time every time.

We've had a family member make a comment about him being around thier kids since there's a possbility that it may have been MRSA. That is going to be the hard part, dealing with that kind of crap. I understand that this family member wants to protect her children, but my kid is not a lepre. Anyhow - I'll keep my emotions in check about that and deal with it when the time comes. ;)

I can't say enough about Bladeforums, specifically W&SS. I sat in front of the laptop with my wife just now reading the posts from you guys and we both had tears in our eyes.

In a world occupied by people that barely have time for themselves it's refreshing to know there are people out there that still have good hearts and are willing to take time out for someone they only know on the net. I can't thank you guys enough for your thoughts and prayers. It really helped me and my wife deal with this. ;)

Little man is still not 100% out of the weeds but he is on the road to recovery.

Thanks guys  I am in complete awe.....

I just have to comment too - this is "Mrs. Myright" - thank you all for the words of encouragement and prayers. Being a nurse I've always known it was hard to be a patient, but never realized how hard it is to have your child be a patient!! I am so grateful that we are home and he is getting better. Thank you for praying for, and thinking of, my family. We really, really appreciate it. :)

I'm glad to hear that everyone's back on home turf. It sounds like Myright Jr. is quite the trooper. Kudos to him - and to you and your wife for your handling of the situation. I hope that your son recovers quickly.

Thanks for keeping us posted.

All the best,

- Mike

It's amazing he took it all so well. That kind of confidence has to be a reflection of the care you two took of him all along.

Praise God. I'm so glad to hear that everyone's prayers have been answered and that the little one in on the mend.

More prayers sent for Jr and family!

God bless.

Kirk
