Need your help

1. 2.5" - 4"

2. Normal work and hosehold chores, workshop projects, food prep, etc...

3. If we're counting SAK's then it would be 8 or 9. Regular folder at 12 maybe.

Hope it's nothing serious Sal! You've put a little joy in all our pockets.

BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA :D :D

Whatever dude.

1. Normal EDC either a SAK w/2.5" blade or single bladed folder w/3.5" blade.
2. Both used for general utility work.
3. First knife was a scout knife, a gift from my Uncle at age 9. Have carried ever since (am now a dozen years past AARP eligablity!).

GOOD LUCK, SAL!!!

About 3 to 3.5 inches used to cut every day items like boxes ,string ,tape ,food some times just to whittle with my son. I have had a knife sense I was about 9 or 10. Hope this helps.

EDC rotation blade size runs from 3" or just under (small Sebenza, Talonite Camillus EDC, Spyderco Native) to 4" (Microtech Socom Elite)

I cut LOTS of cardboard and various other materials.

Started carrying a slip joint folder when I was under ten years old.

Need your help:

I’m involved in a court case. I’m sorry, I cannot give detailed information. I would like to know:

1. What size (blade length) knife do you normally carry?

2. What do you use your knife for?

3. At what age did you begin carrying a knife?

Thanx much for your help.

sal

1. 3 5/8"

2. General purpose. Opening packages, cutting twine, scraping stickers off of windows, etc...

3. Age 11, but don't tell my Mom!

1.) I carry a 2.5" slip-joint folder for EDC

2.) I mainly use the knife to open boxes and mail

3.) I've been carrying a pocket knife ever since I was 9 or 10, back when I was in Cub Scouts

Good luck to you, Sal!

Hey, I work for a Benchmade dealer too. But my boss said his Benchmade can outlast a really old, mint Randall or Scagel or Loveless knife. Somebody please send me one of those knives, or all three, so I can test them. All the people on my block will turn out to see the test, so it will provide good publicity for you. ;)

1. 2.5 inches on a SAK
2. General utility: opening boxes, envelopes, scissor work, etc.
3. I don't remember ever not carrying a pocket knife. I'm 55, and always have at least one on me at all times.

I rotate between Kershaw Chive 2.5", 2 Benchmade Ares ~3 inch, Benchmade 520 Pardue ~3 inch and Spyderco Delica.

Mainly used for cutting paper, opening envelopes, rare box opening.

Carried since 38, I'm 45. Hey! I have developmental delay.

braindoc

3" - 3.5" slip joint or liner lock.

Utility & occasional light food prep (cutting rolls, tomatos, fruit, etc.).

10 or 11 years old - 4" sheath knife at scout camp.

Blades are usually around the 3" mark. Sak's and Opinels mostly.

I carry every day. Use them mostly at work, and opening beers at home ;)

I was probably about 8 when I had my first knife. 51 now.

Good luck.

Hello,

size: 4 inches blade or a little less

Everything including cooking and meals. (A Pacific Salt is on duty these days!)

I was 5 year old and it was a small bowie bought in Thiers.
I still got it !!!

(FYI: In France any knife even non locking knives can be considered as dangerous by any cop. I've been checked a lot and always kept my knives. low Profile/Good Behaviour helps:D )

Bonne chance Sal.

I carry a 3-4" folder with a half serrated blade and a full size multitool, most reciently a Leatherman Charge XTi. I have carried this combination since my freshman year in high school. I wore both knives to high school and college everyday.

1) I carry 3 inch max
2) For cutting string, opening letters, cleaning under my fringer nails etc
3) I have had knives (SAK's) since I was about 11/12 but only really started to carry all the time when I was 18 (and still am :D )

PS Good luck Sal
