Another bikini vote. I only cord wrap the center section leaving the hole fully exposed and it feels perfect. An Izula without the hole would be cool but it just wouldn't be an Izula to me.
 
I vote for the full length slabs. If I need the carabiner hole i would remove the scales all together. just my two cents
 
Id kind of have to feel it, but right now my Izula is wrapped like that. (Only to the hole). It feels fine in my hand and works well.
 
How about just setting up a poll to see which gets more vote? Then RC can just pick the one they want regardless of votes.

You know, like the government. :p
 
carabiner hole does make the Izula. That's how I carry it on my harness. IMHO the Hest would be used if the Izlua is to small to grip if you have giant meat beaters

This is how I feel. I had my Izula wrapped to approximately the length of the bikini scales and I had to re-wrap. I also have extra cord into a lanyard to help pull the Izula out if need be and for a pinki loop.

If you had full scales would you have a hole to attach a lanyard if wanted? I am guessing so, but just asking.
 
My handle wrap covers the same length the bikini scales do. Gimme! :D

I think I would prefer a full scale but I will still likely buy a set of the bikini scales if they are the only ones offered. I would also prefer that the scales are fit more flush with the tang but I understand that may not be possible since these won't be hand fit.
