Negative Feedback Given - Admin PLEASE Read - I've reported this 4 times.

I refunded through Paypal. He said he would give the knife to charity so I let him keep it, yet he lied and recovered it and sold it on eBay. This is all documented through our communications on this Forum. If it were up to me I'd have him banned from BF.

I too have dealt with Albert several times and have found him to be honest, fair, and if anything, extremely generous. I don't think anyone should hesitate in dealing with him. What people don't realize is that when someone wants something bad enough (especially collectors), they will sometimes pay an extremely high premium for that item. But many folks see an extremely high price later when the collector decides to sell that item and think he's flipping for a profit. The concept is somewhat ridiculous. I don't think anyone is getting rich buying and selling knives. The only ones I see making a profit are the true flippers that buy some from a new run that just drops and they list the item on ebay for double what they paid even before they have the item in hand.
I don't find any evidence of such practice from my friend Albert here. I hope this gets straightened out in your favor my friend.

Bob, your a friend and an inspiration. Thanks for speaking on my behalf. Talk soon.

And he called you a liar and flipper.
Giving it to charity then selling it for $400 after you refunded the $150 he paid? What a shady bastard. That's the altmate in dishonesty. That should be absolute ban actions.

Agreed. I've asked the buyer to chime in if he'd like - however I imagine he'll go hide in a dark corner instead of being a man.

Update: He logged on at 2:17pm and read my message to him about this forum and must have decided there's simply no way he can defend himself. So we can consider this closed. Please Admins, remove the negative review and consider banning him from BF for taking a knife he claimed he'd donate to charity and flipping it on eBay after it was re-covered with mammoth bark scales. Not only did he receive a free knife after my "no returns and buyer accepts all liability" after even admitting there could be a crack in the mammoth, he got his money back and profited an additional $350.00 or more. The worst part of all of this is that he left his negative review to tarnish my reputation.

Who paid for the new scales/bark mammoth? That must cost money to whoever did that?

I don't get your point. The knife was going to charity and not meant for profit. The buyer references who he used for the scales to be changed in the ebay photo I added. If you have a defense for him getting a refund, a free knife and then flipping on ebay I'd like to hear it.

Do you have a link to the listing Albert? Can't find his profile or an actual sold listing on ebay even with their 90 days history of all sold items.

This was over 90 days ago. I reported the listing to eBay because you can't sell mammoth bark, so perhaps he changed his name. Did you see the screenshots I took? I began messaging him out of anger and he blocked me on ebay - so this is all I have and frankly all I need. Remember, the serial numbers match (#6) so there's really no question. As I said, I've privately written the moderators for approximately 6 months and haven't gotten a response.

His username on ebay practically matched his username here. Would you like the members username? Or rather, read the single negative review on my profile and you'll find it there.

Funny the Buyer is already on my ignore list for some previous transgression.

There's more to Feedback than what meets the eye and I dig a little deeper when dealing with people. Seeing yours the 1 negative wouldn't dissuade me from dealing with you since the history speaks for itself.

Good Luck with this but in the long run it's just water under the bridge.

Insisting on F&F could be construed in a less than favorable way, no matter how accurate the description.

Is that's really the big picture here or are just another member that dislikes me? How does that affect anything I've brought up? Is it frowned upon, yeah and I'll take accountability, but don't pick apart my wrong doings when it's clear I went above and beyond for this buyer - even refunding his fees.

I have sold to and bought from Ahbiv and have never had a single issue with him. No drama, no bs. Hopefully the feedback issue can be resolved.

Oh no I don't doubt the validity of your claims, rather I just can't find any record of the member or his sold listing of that knife on ebay. I've already known who it is in question and I've seen his listing for that knife in the past on ebay but it wasn't sold.

Honestly I agree with braillediver, it's rather hard to remove negative feedback and it's water under the bridge at this point.

It should be easy. A quick look at the dates shows the OP left his neg first, making this retaliatory. That's a big no-no around these parts.

Rather hard? That's bullsh$t. The member bought a knife that I Admitted was potentially damaged, I said specifically no returns, and took excess photos for him. I said "buyer assumes all liability". He made a choice to buy a knife under those terms. And let's not forget I discounted it. But to go even farther, I gave him a full refund in good faith because he claimed the knife would go to charity, yet I was called the flipper and liar. Read his review and tel me with 100% certainly it has any merit. It doesn't. Not one bit. I'd love to see the role reversed and how you'd act in this situation. You damn sure would want some bs feedback removed after jumping through hoops for the buyer. I don't know if he sold the knife on ebay, but he damn well tried.

Popping out if the wood works. My initial comment proves who's at fault. Let the mods read our messages and deal with this. Tell your buddy hi for me.

Is it not? I don't understand your need to curse and act belligerently when I quoted another member.
I'm not doubting your claims..nor the situation in general. In fact I agree with you on this being reversed but at this point only Spark can step in.
As in it's "RATHER HARD" to remove negative feedback UNLESS Spark steps in and helps you out. Check your attitude Albert.

I'm sorry. My apologies. I read your message wrong.
