Nepalese earthquake relief fundraiser. Every little bit helps.

Yesterday evening I got call from father and Bhakta and they are safe,
Thank you all for your prayers and donations

I'm glad they are safe. At least they now have chance to get back on their feet and rebuild their lives. Now I'm hoping that Bir Ghorka items such as buffers and other tools are salvaged or salvageable. May Lord Vishwakarma take pity on the kamis, sarkis, and the factory.

That's great news!

Great to hear!

+1 to Bookie.

Amen to all of the comments....truly, great news, and best wishes.

Blessings on Yangdu and those dear to her.
Straight donation best option.
Cash flow is critical for shop and employees.

A direct link for donations on HI homepage would be the way to go...many people do not hit forum, much less, the "cantina" subforum...myself included
...was lucky to even find this thread describing damage....top of homepage detailing loss/injuries to shop and employees at top of homepage....likely will also generate rush of orders from those fearing a shortage or even ending of imports
..

Great suggestion, I forwarded your insights to auntie.

To those able, COMMIT to a monthly donation, no matter how small....even $1.....but regular steady help is what is needed, help which those in need can COUNT on, rather than a one-time feel-good gift, until they can get back to some sense of normal.

With many areas hit hard and not even a tent out of elements, young, old and infirm will suffer terribly....and with supplies low, prices will be high for many necessities in many areas....so money collected may not go as far...

So try to provide sustained help, if at all possible...

Welcome to the HI and blade forum, mtngur
Thank you for the donations

I agree mtngunr and welcome. Thats an excellent idea! I dont know who and how HI's site is maintained but i dont think it gets updated very often. They may be in need of that kind of support as well. I would be up for sustained support on top of extra here and there donations.

And, if not already done, i second or third the motion this thread or a new one started on main forum as a sticky up top as to destruction of shop and homeless workers......monsoon season is coming....

And no need to solicit but only supply a mechanism for those inclined by state of soul to help as much as possible including small monthly donations....

Yeehaw...the shop is coming along! Keep the help coming people, we need more HI blades to treat the HIKV infected.
