Thats what i wear i dont hold the ford against you i just traded my 08 f250 in on this dodge i honestly love fords looks but there diesel engines just dont hold out pulling equipment i tore up 2 6.0s in a matter of months. I have his messages and the mods and anyone else who wants them does 2 i also have where i said over two weeks ago to return it he never replied at all until last night 5am saying he just mailed it. FWIW: I honestly think most of the member's are just looking out for YOUR best interest, as far as the auto is concerned. You know better than anyone, regarding where you live in rural Kentucky, & the USPO being involved. I think member's real concern is, the way PayPal may look at these facts, even though WE KNOW, that they shouldn't be relevant!

BTW- I'm not familiar with the slip on steel toes; I have 2 pair of regular classic moc toe RW boots, & a pair of steel toe RW. I came very close to buying a Dodge quad cab Hemi 5.7L, in late December...had Carlsbad Dodge had a 2014 in graphite gray...I was ready to sign the contract...when the new aluminum design 2015 came out, I stayed with Ford...trucks, knives, boots...we all have our preferences.

Jessica who is handling it told me it might take 21 days lol. Its not about the money its how he is trying to do me i wouldnt be mad at all if he said i should have kept it and drop the case but i doubt he will man up and take resposibility since he escalated it to a dispute . I just thank god i had a video of me opening the knife for another member who was interested i sent it to them and they said thats proof of it working and his claim says bad button ??? But it will prob take awhile . Now lets get back to truck talk how you like that al frame thats cool!!!! I wanted a raptor but for the same money i bought a demo 14 ram with 6.7 cummins and rocky ridge lift kit it has 6k miles so its like new i just dont like the urea stuff it needs to run . Oh yes im a uk fan!!!!!! Its almost a law here lol im pretty sure our sheriff would arrest you faster for a duke shirt then a pocket full of otf knives lol . Its almost game time go uk!!!!!!!

To the OP, you need to chalk this one up as a learning lesson.

There where many signs (you mentioned them) that there was something 'strange' about this guy.
I am sure in the future, if somethings starts the way this deal did, you will walk away.

Buyers remorse sucks, and that's what this is.
It's a waste of your time, and it's not a reason that you need to except a return, however, sometimes that's the easiest thing to do.

I don't think this forum has much tolerance for buyers remorse, and I appreciate the thread.

Thank you jr fan im honestly not upset over the $$$ or even the guy wanting to return it over his wife . Its the fact that he can use paypal to get my knife carry it and then make me give his $$$ when he is ready for another toy. And the worst he called me a liar when he told them the knife was defective. Even the lady at pp said its easy to see what he is doing . If your cheated you file a claim right then she said when its 2 weeks or more later there just trying to use the system to beat me. But it is what it is i guess??? Paypal can choose who to side with but let me say this if i was laying odds i would bet 7 to 1 that box will be empty when i get it.

I totally understand this being 100% about the "principle" in this case. I have a feeling, that PayPal will rule in your favor, regardless!

I did look at a couple of the Raptor's...but for me living on the Coast here in San Diego, just didn't justify the cost & the 4WD. I've been commuting down near downtown San Diego, so this new radical aluminum design change & the better gas mileage with the V6 seemed to be a perfect fit. I absolutely love this truck! You're driving a beast!!! Wasn't that moonshining reality show, based up in the Eastern Kentucky, hills?

I agree with you 100% and that is why buyers remorse after 2 weeks is not, and should not be, a reason to accept a return.

The rest of my original post was about future deals, and things that I am sure you learned from this one based on how Dildo was when communication between the two of you started.

Yeah my truck has a 8 inch lift and 38 15.50 tires so shes a big girl .
And yes the moonshiner chico and tyler are about a hour from me but there all in this app mountain area. if you ever watch turtle man hes in my county all the time filming stuff lol . The big show here now is mountain monsters on dest america they go around with shotguns looking for the wolf man.,bigfoot stuff like that they are always filming around here lol. Crazy the shows that come.from here oh almost forget hatfield mcoy moonshine show thats like 25 min from my house ..

Thanks yeah i will be a whole lot more cautious in the future i have realized just being a member isnt good enough i actually had a guy say he wanted a 800 dollar knife this morning and ask me to hold it he said he was a bf member i told him to post in the thread he wanted it guess what he hasnt responded yet over 10 hrs ago so no dice. I could have rolled the dice told him send the $$ but im gun shy now very gun shy. Im afraid nildo wont do the right thing he has taken it to far after escalating it at pay pal and lying to them and im betting he mailed me a empty box.

That's true. This does happen in these threads. They get sidetracked and on to different subjects and then they end up getting locked.
I am guilty of doing this at times.
Hopefully this thread can get back on, and stay on topic. I know there are many here who want to see a good outcome, and it would be nice if Hildo would respond to this thread.

Nobody is faulting you for owning the knife. I brought up the legality of the buyer having, and you shipping the knife to him, when it may in fact be illegal.
Not to point out you did something wrong, just to bring it to your attention, because Hildo appears to be a flake, and may bring up anything he can, in order to get back his $$$.
If he can legally own the knife, it is just one less thing for him to try and use in his quest for a refund.

One last thing that is off topic, you mentioned the member who wanted you to hold a knife for him, and after you requested he post "I will take it" in the thread, he is no longer communicating. There are some members who don't want to publicly post about the knives they are buying.
I know it seems a little odd, and I don't understand it, but there are people who prefer to remain anonymous.

There are people who will buy Gold memberships, strictly for the purpose of buying and selling, and do so with the intention of ripping people off, if they can get away with it.
Fortunately it is very rare, but just having a paid membership doesn't automatically mean they are honest people.
You really have to do a little research on the members past history, postings, and transaction feedback if they have any. It doesn't take long, and it can certainly help avoid situations like yours.

Ive read the emails and paypal stuff. Hildo is the wrong party for sure in my mind.

Your "wife" being upset is not a reason to ask for a refund 2 weeks later. Even if he did ask fora refund after delivery.... he waited 2 weeks. These things have a time limit. Thats like me ordering a knife from a retailer and sending it back 2 weeks after their refund time frame.... not cool. Lesson to be learned by the buyer.... if you can't take not getting 200 back you shouldn't be spending that on cutlery or anything really. For the seller.... follow your gut from now on. If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, etc.... its definetly not a dog lol

Ill let the OP poat up emails if it turna dirty. Hildo needs to step up here.

No.i asked him his bf name no reply then i said if HE WANTS TO he can.post on the forum just trying to figure out who he was but i never got any reply after i asked his name now its 12 hours later. Honestly i like to say ill take it so theres record of me buying it if anything goes sideways but hey if someone wants to message me and me keep it hush hush thats cool i actually bought a big dollar knife and the guy didnt want it known i bought it and i will never say who or what knife it was because i wanted it badly and he needed $$$ so we made the deal. Its been about 2 weeks or more im sure he would flip if i said i want my $$$ back and his knife is heading back to him. Also my paypal is all jacked up now where he did this but i dont even care anymore what happens im so wore out from this i just posted this so everyone can be careful if he buys something from them my mistake has already been made but you guys can avoid yours.
