You guys realize that this model has 3D machined titanium as well, right? The difference is that this model doesn't have the variation on Rick's XM texture. Still 3D machined though, as you can see by the contouring of the handle.
 
The texturing is what I was referring to. With a smooth 3D machined handle the lines of the knife look so clean.

I would buy a regular 560/1 if the handles came like this.
 
So do they come sharp? And whats the deal with S110V? Is it a super steel? Anybody used there's yet? Or are these going to be case queens?:D
 
KC better come through, I ordered from them the day or the day after they put up the pre order. Still looking just in case. Same goes for a 0777 :/

Yup but its subtle in comparison. Clean and pretty :)

When I get mine, it's getting put to use right away. That's why I got more than one. S110V is some nutty stuff on paper, I can't wait to see what it does.
 
I've been carrying mine since I got it. Haven't cut anything yet, but its sure been fondled!
 
The edge seems wicked sharp on mine... One of the few knives I have where I touched the edge and was like no thanks. :)

I'm trying to get one... Got one for my dad's 60th... On Dave's list for one more if the list is long enough. If not I'm sure I'll find one in the next week or so :) not too worried yet. Now if I could just hit a 777 someplace ;)
