New 0560 Carbon Fiber and CPM S110V Composite

The bead blasted finish blends perfectly with the textured Ti frame. Speaking of which, I've never seen Ti look this sleek before (maybe the Volt).

I would love to have one, but the bead-blasted finish and the Sandvik steel really turns me off. It's just asking for rust.

Knife Center:thumbdn: They had the 0560CBCF up for preorder on their website for how many months? No telling how many preorders they had. Now when you try to find it on their website its not even their, even using the search box I couldn't find it. Fortunately I had saved the page to my bookmarks and as you can now see its got the the big red word "Discontinued" Followed up by "This product is no longer available" They probably thought they were going to get a bunch in then realized they aren't getting any. On of the guys I talked to on the phone the other day told me they had just under 100 preorders... At that point it was an instant pass for me...
 
I’m confused at why bead blasting is so “controversial.” As long as you aren’t neglectful to your knife, it will never have a problem.

They did the same thing to me a few times, most recently with the Shot Show Griptillian. I'm done with that place. For those that have a Pre-order with them.... I hope it works out.

I've had 14C28N rust on me. Tiny little specks.
I don't see why BB has anything to do with it.

You should still be getting emails (unless you cancelled) saying your order is in process. They took it down because they don't accept pre-orders for it anymore. I had the same questions regarding other pre-orders I had. I had a phone chat, and I'm convinced they'll do their best to honor my pre-order.
 
Not sure about the bb finish but my sample #564 is smooth so it must be a very small media size they use.

This is why I only take names in order received , because you can order 400 knives and only get 20, so to take credit card numbers and deposits, is a waste of time. They are not trying to deceive anyone, they are just doing business the best they can. There are just variables that are out of your control and you certainly can't keep everyone happy. I am seriously considering completely doing away with preorders on limited runs, or at least reducing the slots to a reasonable number , like 20 or so, instead of hundreds. We all do the best we can with the tools we have to work with, so calling someone a clown because they were unable to fulfill an order seems a bit harsh, just saying.
