That golden brown Jigged Bone is a looker toFor some reason, early on I bought the golden brown jigged bone CC, which I like very much. You guys make me reconsider my choice, since the elderberry is gorgeous, and seems to be all the craze! Oh well... I might need to get a second one.

Yes, I can't complain. I'm just wondering if only one was sold... to me!That golden brown Jigged Bone is a looker to![]()
It is, indeed, very nice!I agree. If I was to buy one, it would have been the Brown Jigged.
I agree with you, it’s basically take your pick on what cover material a person wants. These two bladed variants really blow my skirt up.this little antique jig bone #14, though not an SFO, for the price and a knife that will last a lifetime, is a go to EDC...(IMO)

Ah! So that's what I've been doing wrong... Makes for a great collection tho!"If you let everyone's opinion persuade you...you would end up with one of every knife."![]()
Lol! Ok doesn't apply to those trying to get one of each knifeAh! So that's what I've been doing wrong... Makes for a great collection tho!
Yes, I can't complain. I'm just wondering if only one was sold... to me!It sure doesn't seem to be popular. Anyway, I like it, and I'll stop now, with three #14. Ok, maybe a TC barlow on the exchange eventually...

I only allowed myself one, and chose Lyle's white bone, but I was sorely tempted by the antique jigged bone. I could see picking up a used one on the exchange some day though. I was kinda glad the TC Barlows were only offered in single blade as it made it less disappointing when I inevitably missed out on the reserve. I only have one TC: a clip/pen in ebony, and missing out on a mini version would have hurt.I've been carrying the jigged bone 2 blader and it has been performing admirably on baler twine and whittling sticks! It's actually looking a lot better with a little wear on it, the Northfields are just so fancy and shiny when new, it can be hard to "knock the new" off of them. I think the jigging and color will only improve with age.

Here’s a natural that just came in. I live in constant humidity, so I’m going to force a patina and then drop it in a pocket. When I don’t force it, I usually get some of the orange and brown patina showing up! Should be a great little companion. Thanks to Darren and Frank for keeping me in the loop.
WOW, now there's a handful! Nice...Prefer the single blade over the two blade version by quite a margin. My top five in order of preference:
1. Ebony TC
2. Smooth white bone TC
3. Green bone boot shield
4. Red sawcut bone no shield
5. (tie) Oily bone old man shield / Yellow bone diamond shield
Sleeper: Antique amber jigged bone feels really nice in hand.
