After reading Glockwhatever's comments, there should be another option, kick all of these cry baby POS knife selling idiots off of the exchange or stick them in a sub forum.

The reason non Busse posts fall off the first page is that people are not looking to buy those knives.

As for the new exchange rules, they suck.

Nothing is going to satisfy those cry baby POS knife selling idiots because their real problem is that people are not looking to buy their knives.

The powers that be are trying to bandaid the cry baby POS knife selling idiots problems by messing with Busse buyers and sellers.

Well if that is the case, then their posts will not be bumped and the Busse posts will. But, calling a knife someone else likes a POS is not conducive to maintaining a civil discussion. Just like there are Busse fanatics, there are Randall fanatics, spyderco fanatics(of which I am one), microtech, benchmade, chriss reeves, and so on. None is these brands mentioned are POS's. And some sel just as fast as Busses and at high profits.

In any case, if everyone obeys the rules, then nothing has changed as the other htreads will drop off, albeit more slowly giving others time to look at those knives.

The bottom line is that people who sell their knives quick for a good price are not complaining.

Why is it our problem that some guys knife collection isn't paying off?

Here's my take on the issue.

At first I thought that a separate page for Busse family knives would be cool, but then I realized that it would slash the flow of new members to our little slop wadling family. I have to assume that many others have done the same thing that I did. I was looking for a specific knife in the exchange and when I kept seeing dozens of Busse knives for sale I had to check out what all the commotion was about. I decided that I wanted to be a piglet to, and bough me a couple.

I am going to say with all due respect that the reason the exchange is clogged with Busse knives is because they sell, and they resell for a good price so there is even more incentive for sellers to put more up. As long as we can keep the gratuitous bumping under control there is no reason to send our knives off to some corner. With Busse knives on a separate page no matter who is moderating it, there would be very little sign of all the commotion that they cause. I think that Jerry is responsible for a lot of traffic on this site, and a lot of paying members call the trough home. Therefore it is reasonable that he should be able to enjoy the “free” advertising that comes with all that bacon up for sale. The constant increase in the number of piglets around here keeps the prices nice and fat, which is good for those of us that have some INFI stored away.
