As the new Basic models coming up which one do you think you’d be interested in the most?
To me, my B7 should cover what 6 and 8 would offer, but B4 is very intriguing as a hiking knife.

I would definitely go for a Basic 10 or two. Bring on the Busse Basics!

I like the ten but I have some 11's so I don't know there. The 4 is really appealing as long as it's not too thick. Anything over 3/16" would kill it for me. I don't have a 7 any more but according to experts I trust the 6 would be the one to have. For me it will all depend on blade thickness and blade shape.

Gotta love those basics though. The B11 is my all time favorite big Busse.

The basic 7 would cover what the 6 and 8 would do, if it were readily available or if you already have one. For those who don't, it's a nice alternative to scrap yard models that are in that size range. I think it would be awesome to have the complete basic set, basic 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11

I hope the Basic 10 has more of a bowie profile than the straight spine like the Basic 11. I'll be stoked either way!

If the 6 has the small handle like the 3 & 5 did that would be a winner to me. :)

Sigh. Of course ... but I'm struggling hard with my Accumulator instincts.

What, do you guys think, the prices are going to be? Mid $300?

Also agree on thickness, I hope 4 and 6 are under .180

just a guess--

B4 $217
B6 $237
B8 $257
B10 $277

Edited to say, I was basing these off the Basic 11 @ $297, but the low end starts to look out of whack against the Scrapyard War Dog and S5 LE, which are 5" satin at under $200, so I wouldn't put too much stock in my prediction. It will be interesting to see, though. Also, I think the coated INFI SS4 was $139 or something like that?

This is really exciting - a B6 would go very well with my B11 and would most likely replace my SARSquatch or TMDSF as my favorite hiker...

I'm hesitant on the B4 just because I wouldn't want a 4" blade to be .25" thick... That size I like em skinny at around .14"

Are we to assume these will be available for order on Busse Combat after the debut at Blade???

.

I think all of them will be pretty cool. It makes my brain hurt just thinking about it. If I could have only one, I think I'd go for the B4. That's a very useful size.
