With all this recent talk about convexing I decided to go and convex my 2. And then since it turned out so nice I also did my 7. I might just have to take some pictures later (like tomorrow). I think I might also polish my 2 too. It's starting to look nice with a 360grit sanding. Hummmm....

At one time I was so into convexing I got rid of all my stones etc... now I'm getting them back, some knives just aren't meant for convex.. folders and scandi to name a couple :D

Putting my Longboard up for sale, to get the money for the BK-10. Won't skate this summer anyways.

i like long boards, snow boards, and surf boards (also long boards)

good stuff

maethor, I've been looking for one.. whatcha got?? doubt international shipping would be to my liking.. :D

Don't sweat it. Prices are doubled over here, you could get a decent new one for less than I'm asking for my slightly used one, and I really pushed the price down to get rid of it fast. Try to stay away from Loaded. Lush makes some nice boards, Gravity, Arbor and Indiana too. Dunno if those are available where you live, but try to find a good forum and read before you buy. Google for silverfish, it's a great forum.

just bought my son his first board last month an element with indies, reds etc.. I used to skate in the day a little (never was very good)so I jumped on the board and was showing him some tricks I did back in 'nam and ate it badly on my wrist and elbow, what made it worse is my wrist was just getting over a previous injury a few months back.. sometimes getting on the horse again just isn't worth it..

with a longboard I wont be as tempted :D

nah you can count me out on that one, my idea of longboard is travel :D at pedal speed....... the most hardcore I ever got on one is going down a very steep overpass and keeping upright the whole time, maybe reached speeds of a whopping 35mph... which is still crazy considering back then there was no such thing as 'protection'.. :D

Go get one and go skating. Stop talking about it on the net. Our downhill racing team here in Berlin has a motto: "F*ck style, go out and skate".

I think that's more of a 'skate' mentality as its the same here in the states.....I've pondered the thought of a board but that's as far as its gone, besides the wife's not on board...... pun intended...

i guess the same could be said about blades... quit talking about it..

I might just do the same. I like how it turned out.

I just bought my son a skateboard. There's no way I'm getting on it to show him anything. :D

I was on the ground so fast I didn't know what hit me, oh and there was pain.... It's taking me much longer nowadays to heal, "its an age thing", my kids don't understand :D

im still young (25) and still have my skateboard from my teens. I also have a scar on my chin from nosediving on the pavement while trying to be cool and ride it. its been in the garage since i got a car and realized im not cut out for the x games anyway

I'm still young (39) and still got my Staab that I got from Staab. I can ride it on the street with my kids, but I'm smart enough to stay out of the pools and pipes (but not smart enough to not want to try). I was in my late 20's and would take my Valley Little Brother out to blast drainage ditches. Good times.

I'm still young (74) and I grease the wheels on my walker when I feel like going fast.
