So I've been carrying my BK7 the past two days and I have to say.... me gusta. However, I keep my BK2 in my ruck. I got the BK12 in today, so it's going for a ride tomorrow, we'll see if the 7 gets the boot!

Oh! I also got my G10 for my necker in the mail today!! I'll post pics in a min. They are pretty sweet. From Saint Cutlery.

back from the ozarks.
pretty country - bad cell reception. (win - win!)

Welcome back. And I hear ya about the cell phones. Drives me nuts sometimes. The Ozarks are beautiful indeed.

unfortunately, wife was coming down with a bug when we left home (didn't figure it out until we got there) and shared it with me, so I missed out on 2 more days at the lake. :(

Ok my impressions on the Condor knives that I just got.

The thickness is pretty nice. It's just a bit thicker than the Mora next to it, and a bit thinner than the 11/14's

I like the shape of the Sapien, and I like the Nessmuk also but I think that I need to sharpen it a bit before it performs as well as it should.

Fether stick makin,
Sapien

pretty nice.

Nessmuk,
need to work on the blade a bit.

Overall I like the Condor Sapien for a bushcrafty knife. At $64 with micarta scales it's a pretty nice blade.

So if you want to get a smallish b/c knife and don't want to break the bank I would say get this one. I like it.:thumbup:

Jarod, is that the Tigerstripe Izula scales?...or am I thinking of something totally different... lol

Going on a little mini vaca here in a bit. Going to Starved Rock State Park. Taking the 14 with me. Try to get some nice shots. Talk to you guys sometime Thursday evening.

Thanks brother. Should be fun, but gonna be one hot mother. Supposed to get up to 97° today, not to mention scattered thunderstorms tomorrow. It's all good though, I'll still be on vacation.

Hey warrior have fun man.

Btw anyone know of a good video editing program? Preferably free? Im prepping for the august challenge and realized that my dig cam is the only video recorder I got but everytime you stop the recording and start it again it makes a new video, so I gotta find a program that edits them together

So I currently have some micarta sitting in some black dye getting ready for the BK3!! Can't wait to get that beast!!

On my camera if you hit pause, it keeps adding to the same recording. If not, Adobe Premier Pro works, but it costs. If you are using a windows computer, chances are you already have Windows Movie Maker installed, and it can do most basic editing, and is free (provided it is already installed anyways, not sure if you can download for free if it isn't).

If not, let me know, I'll look for adobe premier in a hadji shop for ya!
