My cursor was hovering over the infraction cards for just a moment there. ;) :D
But then I realized that Wayne Whittaker would just take the high road and tell Silverthorn, "My package is intact. Thanks for the concern."

Silverthorn, my package is intact. Thank you for thinking about my penis.

That, gentlemen, is how you win a tight race for alderman.

Oh, shit. :D:D:D:D:D

lmao!

actually, get me 6-12 of those, and some coconut flavored dipping sauce, and i'd be all over those. after i fry them :)

do be sure to snip the beaks off though, as you might chip a tooth.

Spent the better part of the morning cleaning the corrosion out of my pocket knife from the ocean. Apparently saltwater and two dissimilar metals, no matter how "stainless" can lead to corrosion. I seem to recall hearing something about this in school at one point. Guess I should have paid better attention. The brass liner (which I know isn't stainless) was reacting with the blade on my Skeletool CX, and yesterday it was so hard to open that once I got done using it, instead of putting it away I left it open while I fiddled with the rest of the stuff I had to mess with until it was ready again. Hated doing that, safety hazard and all, but today once I got it open I could see why. There was rust all in the pin around the liners and blade. Glad to have that fixed. If you are working on knives at all, invest in a brass wire brush. Works great, without ruining the finish of your blade.

Saltwater will put a nice green corrosion on most brass in pretty short order. Most stainless steel will corrode eventually as well.
If you're going to the beach or fishing in the salt, pick up a Spyderco H1 blade. That stuff is freakin' amazing around saltwater.

Boom. My Becker handle ax project. Had a cold steel trench hawk collecting dust so im figuring to screw around with the head some and see what monstrosity I can make.

That fixed blade plain edge looks pretty sweet Guyon. Might have to get me one at some point. Thankfully not going back to the beach for awhile.

That thing is ugly as sin. Love it. Make it awesome.

Looking at it again, I would move the handles down to where the top two bolts went through the axe portion, then use some type of filler of similar thickness for the last one shaped to the handle and that matches up to how the bottom of the axe ends. Two bolts should be sufficient and would give you a little more handle to work with.

Actually, you should be in the chat anyways. Go there.

Discontinued. I searched the globe to find that one.
Found four in Canada and had to wait for their postal strike to end before I could get it.
But you can still get the Pacific Salt (middle knives above.)

Well nuts to that, I can live without.

Up at the mountain place all weekend by myself. Brought all the mod projects I've wanted to do and have been working on all of them simultaneously. BK2, BK10, BK11, Warthog, CS Trail Hawk. Etches, patinas, finishes, dyes, wraps, hafts... heaven. Tons of pics. Gonna have a month's worth of posts, not to mention a bunch of modded (and prolly ugly :) ) toys, once I'm done.

So I've got me a job interview tomorrow morning. I'm kinda nervous about it. I haven't been on one in over 4 years. I'll bring a Becker for good luck, but I'm still kinda nervous about it. Wish me luck guys.
