For those who have never made Tinder Straws here is a link to make things easy.

I always go to wendy's or Mcdonalds to get the fat thick straw's, use one cotton ball for about 3"-4" piece of straw....

i cut my straws into thirds, and pack each third with 2 petroleum jelly infused cotton balls. they stay lit for like 2 minutes :thumbup:

so what does one use the esee (or any other companys) arrowhead for? I cant see dropping the cash on something like that since i dont see the usefulness. Making one arrow? for a makeshift bow? what else?

i use mine as a firesteel striker in my kit (pic above). it also comes with on hikes and long trips. you never know i suppose. it isnt for everybody.

i figured it had its uses i just couldnt think of any. I thought of using it as an actual arrowhead in a situation where its needed, but one missed shot and you can easily lose your arrow and head in a moment. didnt know if there were other uses for such an item
