Looks good trade. Shoot a fish already. And don't forget to post pictures.
I put a working edge on my Craftsman hatchet. Seems to chop and hold edge pretty well so far.

It's a store bought fishing arrow, I think it was around ten bucks. It's strictly short range, around 15 to 20 feet max. No fletching, line tied to it and heavy as hell, doesn't fly well at all over any distance. Made to give some penetration in the water.

They aren't bad at all are they Guyon? For the money makes a good one to keep in the truck.

Glad someone got one that isn't junk. Mine has too soft an edge on it to be worth a darn. Bad heat treat probably, but at the end of the day it is still a piece of junk.

So, I have this billy can that I used on last weekends challenge. It performed very, very well, and at the end of the trip I decided it might be taking the place of my Coleman Solo Cookset. I don't need a ton of pots, and the versatility of the thing kinda puts it above the versatility of the cookset I have. Problem is, I can't leave well enough alone, and I want to add some features to it that it is lacking. Namely handles, both on the lid and the pot itself. To do so, I had planned on riveting in a flat piece to hold on some handles, like what you see on most other cook pots. This sounds simple enough, but all I have are pop rivets, and they are decidedly less water proof than the flat rivets I see on my existing cookset. Anyone know how to do those flat rivets like you see on some cooksets or other devices meant to hold water? Anyone know where to get them? I am at somewhat of a loss currently. I have a Lowe's nearby that I can visit for most stuff, but if I need anything out of the ordinary I will more than likely have to order it as this area is terrible for shopping if you need anything specific. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

D, If you can't find rivets at the hardware store, just cut off some nails leaving the heads and a quarter inch. Insert through the hole and peen them with a hammer. The horn of an anvil would be handy to put the pot over, but you can come up with something to use. Annealing the nails is helpful, as rivets are pretty soft. You should be able to find some copper rivets though.

Caught another today. Might go again tomorrow morning to get a few more:D
I'm most likely gonna smoke this one.

I like buck slippies. Inexpensive (some) and good overall. Slips were actually some of my very first knives. Then I found the becker necker and was like "wtf a knife i can wear around my neck? i call BS" and the rest is history....

Very cool looking sling bow tw. Perhaps I'll mod my Barnett Diablo.
