That thing is HUGE! The hande looks a little big though, but a 4inch blade axis lock? Awsome!

Handle looks very well designed however the blade doesn't evoke any emotion (but objectively speaking looks very functional, top steel!!).

Woohoo! I want one! very useful looking blade shape, and the handle is nice and large with a decent choil! I could even imagine that one replacing my beloved Lonewolf T-2!:D

where did you find info on that? I have not been able to find any. Looks awesome! When are they suposed to start production?

I like the looks. :) Can't wait to hear the price and some feedback from people who have played around with it.

Found it on sale for 190 on knifecenter.com .....suddenly not looking as appealing.

Here's a better pic at knifecenter.

Eh. Really uninteresting blade, kinda ugly overall. Rather have a 710 in that blade size.

I love the way it looks...accept for the brown handle scales. I hope the pic is messed up. The specs say olive green.

damn, that's a big knife. I like the ergo grips. But 10" long it is....with stainless liners so it's probably thick as well. Why not titanium?

the blade shape looks similar to sebenza. What I love the most is the handle shape. Looks comfort to hold. that handle might be annoying carry in pocket.

Wow umm yeah thats huge. I just got a 710 in today and thought it was a bit huge but this..... love the handle and the clip. With over 4inches of s30v I'd be mighty interested to see the price tag.

The handle looks a little like the Henchman of old, but the blade doesn't quite remind me of it;

Would have liked to have seen a folding Henchman!

BUT, I bet this one handles pretty nice, would like to see one in person.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! :)

IMO, going just from looks, the handle shape puts this in the running as the new king of 4"-bladed defensive folders. That's nearly a full-sized guard on that thing! With the finger grooves, security should be rock solid. One of the things I like about Emerson's folders is his attention to handle security on tactical knives, and this Benchmade matches the Emersons. Couple the handle with the axis lock, and it should be a real winner. Yeah, the blade shape isn't fancy, but it's a proven effective shape for just about everything. Although if the handle really is nearly 6" long, that makes it too big for comfortable carry (at least for me) ... bummer. So close, so close!

It would be awsome if the handle was cut off at the second screw for the clip.In fact how hard would that be to mod??
