New BK 10 owners, what do you think? Share!

I am much more stoked about it than I thought I would be. I ordered it mainly for the limited edition Beckerhead cool factor and really didn't anticipate having any specific use for it (being a big knife/small knife kinda guy). But now that I've held it, I just want use it, and use it hard.

Good balance alllowing for great control, cool cool and unique finish, and very nice factory edge make this a sweet little knife.

These must be Camillus handle scales. They're more blocky and have a slightly rougher texture. They are nice but I think I still prefer the slimmer Ka-Bar scales. I tried some Ka-Bar grivory on the BK10, but they did not match up to the tang as well as the Camillus scales.

The micarta was given to the 9.

I have to go cut stuff now.
 
Just palm sweat. I did sand on it a bit to smooth out a few rough spots, but the darkening, I think, is from the moisture on my hands.

Yes, I did post my review then run outside in the dark to make fuzzsticks in an attempt to be the first to post in use pics.
 
just got mine today. i was a little concerned that it'll be like my ex bk-9 - that is, the handle's overall thickness will be a tad too thin for it to be comfortable in my hand but not so! it feels good in my hand like the bk-2 and the lighter weight feels better too than the bk-2...i think it'll take many outings before i'll know which i prefer.

looks-wise, i still like the bk-2 over the bk-10...the bk-2 just looks all business with it's minimalist styling. i'll probably krylon black the bk-10 so you all can see the wear marks as proof my bk-10 is a user.

true. the tumbled finish is proof that it's a beckerhead bk-10 rather than just another plain ol' bk-10 bought from ebay. this one is extra special :cool: ...i think it'll replace my f1 as my man purse knife for now.

Got mine yesterday! All three screws accounted for!..hahaha sorry just couldn't resist!
It's what I expected & also not what I expected, in a good way!
Much lighter that BK2, good balance actually, balance point right on my fore finger. Me likes the ramp! Feels like an excellent all round knife!
Fit & finish with camillus grivory not great but better with micarta. Micarta is lighter in colour with different grain pattern to the ones I got with my BK2.
I love the finish on this blade! I would have all my Beckers like this. Looking forward to posting a side by side comparison with BK2.
ps. I wouldn't leave the house without the compass & whistle!

Sweet nick. Its about time. I thought the germans and the troops were gona get it before you. Hell I thought jarod would have to ship his back stateside so you could start working on sheaths while you waited for yours to show up :D
