I have some surgical blades but its too deep. I tried cutting it out the first two nights it made its home in my finger. Its going to cut muscle and tendons to get deep enough.

Thank you. Its especially shitty that I was only able to play with my new BK2 for amount 10 minutes before my wife forced me to the emergency room. Since then I have not been able to hold my knife. But all you bastards just keep going on and on and on and on and on about the fun you have had with yours and the mods you have done. STOP TORTURING ME!!!!!

I feel better now.

I'm glad you haven't lost your sense of humor yet because you know I'm just messin with ya :) I have hurt myself in to many goofy ways not to have at least a partial idea of what your going through. I'm no doc but dude if you still have a chunk of that thing in you, ya gotta get it out. IMO

My family's motto is "You either laugh or you cry". I meet with my surgeon again next Wednesday, so I will keep my fingers crossed. The good fingers.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Midnight self surgery and one big painful as Hell squeeze and the bane of my finger known as the thorn , literally shot out like a rocket. Mrs. BushOgre looked like she was going to puke. She had to take a moment and wig out a bit. HAPPY THORN EXTRACTION DAY.

HOLY JESUS ON A MOPED! Why did you stick a piece of firewood into your finger? That's HUGE! Must've hurt quite a bit to have this thing inside your joint. Are you still going to surgery? I suggest you let someone have a look at that, there might be thorn fragments in your finger and it probably severed something important.

nice :) well, now the doctor's can't wuss out about fixing you up.

tell them that you are specialist requiring hands for work ;) they'll send you up a few notches for better care - good thing to know with certain injuries... like collar bones - which they just send you home for after a piece of tape. unless you are an athlete, musician, or other...

take daily pics :) frame the thorn :)

buy some gloves :>
 
WOW!! Ok, I heard thorn, but what you had was a stump in there. Man, that's gotta feel better. Good pics too.:D Looks like you are on the mend, glad to hear it. BH status is just around the corner, me thinks.
