New BK82

Kabar posted on FB this afternoon that they will be shipping to retailers next week, so I'm betting you're safe.
 
For a crazy tough blade this makes sense. This thick of Magnacut is not going to break without running it over with a tank.
I'm hoping for a Magnacut version of the BK18 or even the Crewman.
 
I like it!
But a 2 or 22 would make me happy too :D
Micarta and kydex like they did on the 72 would have made it complete.
 
Well my lowly BK 72 seems to be doing OK. Its in the Pack for Beer...Deer Season. Yeah it cost a lot (for me that is), but I wanted it and could get it so I got it. And its a lot more useful than them lighter fancy foo foo knives people spend $500 on.

Been thinking on this one over...and over...and over...still on the fence...just wobbling...

I suspected that price was uncomfortably close to your cost.

I just purchased this Knife and uploaded a unboxing/review on YouTube. I like it. It’s a Tank. Looks Awesome. Don’t pass on this one.

I'll browse the Kabar website thoroughly.
Do you know , ss that half price going for everything on their website? Also the products already in clearance section?
And also the Micarta handles and seperate sheaths??

Customs here still is a thing for me so I will sleep on it...
they charge import taxes and handeling cost on every package these days,
and the shipping cost is included in the tax value of the packages, that feels especially unfair imho :(

If it follows past sales, nothing new will be half off (and that will likely include several items “newish” going back 3+ years), clearance items will be excluded, and micarta won’t be included.

Looks like the BK-62 micarta isn't coming back. dang.
 
BK 72 did well during large critter cutting season. The BK 82 will be tested on plant murdering dastardly deer. They EAT LIVING BEINGS ALIVE! So the dastardly deer must die! Oh, and they are yummy to the tummy.
 
Got mine today. Still can’t believe this came with standard grivory, don’t know why they did that. Luckily my TKC g10 also came today. I went with blue to go with the blue jeans micarta of the BK76. This is now awesome…
