I would contact KA-BAR about that.Got mine yesterday! Big shout out to Tomar’s. Incredibly fast shipping. I ordered it on Friday and it arrived on Monday and we’re on opposite ends of the country.
The good, it’s freaking cool. Such a little tank of a knife. Takes me back to the days of sharpened pry bars in the Busse hay day. Makes for a great chonky EDC. The Micarta handle scales are definitely an improvement over factory plastic.
The bad, the fit and finish on this knife is meh. I don’t like that the tang is proud of the scales. I’ll have to grind that flush or round the corners. The factory edge is kinda rough and not very sharp at all. That’s easily fixed on my TSPROF. The primary grind is not amazing either. It has weird gouge marks. They aren’t deep enough to really matter… but this wasn’t a cheap knife. You can also see belt marks through the stone wash. But all that really just encourages me to beat the shit out of it.
I liked it enough to buy another. Cool knife.

Not a fan of the TKC scales, so we’ll see if they will sell without them. Thanks 91
Looks like a good deal shipped and if you like the the TKC scales
I couldn’t pass up the Tomas a little while back.
I’ve heard the TKC full size Becker scales are a little thinner in grip. Not a fan of the TKC scales, so we’ll see if they will sell without them.
Maybe the BK98, BK16, or especially the BK15.
