New Buck 110 LT

I'm loving the feel of the FRN, the rounded edges, and the checkering.
Isn't it something ! and for not much $. Mine finally dulled but no dings or chips or rolls just a slow loss of the edge. I'm EDCing something more jazzy right now but this is a real knife.

Oh really . . . I seem to be missing something here.
So this all means 420HC is NOT A STAINLESS and will rust if they don't tumble it. o_O;)o_O;)
. . .er . . . or what ?
Never ever a hint of rust on my 35 + year old original 110 that has no tumble.
Sorry to play dumb there. They must be talking about the other steel they sometimes use that rusts and so they tumble that.

(I'm not adverse to going for a tumble now and again)

It says a little more rust resistant. Under the right conditions they can rust.

I just was comparing it to my Bucklite I bought in the 90's, and wondering what it is that's so much better about the LT. It's everything, rounded edges, beautiful checkering, and number 1 is no finger grooves. Feels way better in my hand without them. The 112 better hurry up and get to me. It'll be in my pocket all the time. I even like the little humps on the lockbar and blade back. Looks like it would add a tiny bit more stability to the blade when pushing into a cut.

I've been carrying my 422 at work while I wait for a 112 LT for the same reason as jazzz. When I get it, I'll dream of an aluminum 112 and a 500 LT.

Finally bought my second 110 LT. Well worth the $30 I paid at a local store. First one has a little side to side slop, and a tiny bit of lock rock. Second has almost no side to side play but a little lock rock. I bought a second because I like the knife, not because of the slight slop. I'm going to modify the first and add very minor finger grooves on the corners.

Overall a great user knife, and I'm really hoping for a 112 variant... Pocket clip option would be welcome too... deep carry please.

I don't tend to use the sheath since with the LT's weight it's easy to slide it in the back pocket. I don't know the quality of the sheath's button, as that can significantly reduce longevity. The great thing about it, is that I can put my brass 110's in the nylon sheath and not worry about the leather hastening tarnish on the brass bolsters.

^^Would you mind posting a pic of both, open? I have noticed Buck often overgrinds (imo) the edges near the ricasso, almost to the point of creating a slight recurve. A minor thing to most I suppose, but pet peeve of mine. I’ve been wondering how consistent these have been. Thanks

Here's a pic of mine.

I will try to remember to take a pic when I get back. I've been carrying a BM that a member just finished custom scales for so the Bucks are on my bed stand temporarily.

I have noticed that issue on some of my 112's. It varies though.

Finally got one:thumbsup:. Like it a lot, really thought it would be lighter than it is. I’m actually happy about that cuz I prefer heavier knives. I got one for the appearance rather than weight. I dig the 442-446 series and this reminds me of them.
