So, looking at Winky's photos the handles on the Mesa aren't glued, only held in place by screws. And it looks like one could easily create a lanyard hole from one of the 2 holes in the tang. The 632 is a U.S. made model. DM
For some reason I did not even think about one of those holes becoming a lanyard pass through. The scales are not glued down and are actually stabilized with some type of epoxy backing which makes me hope it will help them remain more durable over the life of the knife.
Wonder why Buck didn't just make the lanyard hole themselves?
now probably on Ebay at 60 bucks or so..........Clearanced at my local store. I went in to get one last night and they were all gone. I'm sad. Was going to buy one last week and sporting goods manager told me they were getting ready to clear them out. Wish I had just paid the full price! He said they lasted less than hour at $20
